Get ready to put those feet on the asphalt at Dubai Run 2025. The sports event is among the key highlights of the highly anticipated Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC). And we couldn’t be more excited! DUBAI RUN 2025 – AN OVERVIEW
The largest fun run in Dubai, part of the ultimate 30 X 30 challenge, is returning for its 7th edition on 23rd November 2025. Runners can choose from two routes on the emirate’s giant running track: A 10 km route perfect for seasoned professionals and a shorter 5 km option suitable for kids and families.
Over 278,000 runners participated in the Dubai Run last year and even more are expected this time around. The event, presented by Mai Dubai, welcomes runners of all fitness abilities and ages.

The Dubai Run 2025 registration is possible via the event’s official website. Please note that you can only enter the run if you have registered!

ROUTE OPTIONS
As mentioned, Dubai Run 2025 allows participants to choose from two routes.
- 5 km Route: The shorter 5 km Dubai Run 2025 route starts on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Museum of the Future. It ends at Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, near Dubai Mall.
- 10 km Route: The longer route begins at the same point and ends at DIFC Gate Building near Emirates Towers. This Dubai Run route is recommended for more experienced runners.
BEFORE THE RUN
After registering for the race, collect your bib from Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30 x 30 Fitness Village. On the day of the run, ensure you reach the destination at your allotted time slot so that the management can ensure all participants’ safety and pre-run experience. You can collect them post-registration from the 3rd to the 22nd of November. Please note that wearing a bib is mandatory.
It’s also essential to plan your journey. If you want to travel via public transport, the Dubai Metro is the easiest way to get there. If you’re participating in the 5 km run, head to the World Trade Centre Metro Station to start your run. Those participating in the 10 km run are advised to head to Emirates Towers Metro Station.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes and sports clothes. Early in the morning, it may be a little chilly, but it will get warmer.
DURING THE RUN
The event isn’t a race. So you can run at your desired pace without worrying about people passing you. Mai Dubai water stations are available along and at the end of the routes; take advantage of them to stay hydrated. Also, while the Dubai Run is open for kids, adults must supervise them.
There is no bag drop at the run and you are not allowed to run with a rucksack. So keep your valuables to a minimum and always keep them with you. And last but not least, don’t forget to have fun!
POST RUN
Those who don’t finish in time can rely on guides to reach the nearest metro stations or parking spots to return home. After the run, you can head to Dubai Mall for a nutritious breakfast.

FAQS ABOUT DUBAI RUN 2025
WHAT IS THE ARRIVAL TIME FOR THE RUN?
The race starts at 06:30 am, but be sure to register in advance because it has a limited capacity. The start line closes at 08:00 am and the race finishes at 09:00 am.
It is recommended that you arrive as early as possible to complete the full route.
IS PARKING AVAILABLE FOR THE RUN?
Yes, parking will be available near the start lines. Registered runners will be handed a detailed map, including parking spots before the event.
However, it’s recommended that you use the Dubai Metro to avoid traffic and road closures.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY KIDS FOR THE RUN?
Children between the ages of 13 and 21 can register with consent from their guardians. Kids under 13 can be registered by adults over 21.
DO I HAVE TO PAY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RUN?
No, Dubai Run 2025 is a free event.
HOW DO I COLLECT MY T-SHIRT AND BIB?
Registered participants can collect their bibs and T-shirts from the Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30 x 30 Fitness Village. Remember, bibs are mandatory to participate in the event. The collection dates are from the 3rd November to the 22nd November 2025. The Dubai Run bib collection time would be shared via email to all registered participants.
Can I bring my pets with me?
No, pets are not allowed due to safety reasons.
