Life-Size Emirates A380
The Emirates Airbus A380 is a double deck jet airliner and the world’s largest passenger airliner. It was one of its kind when Emirates started operating it. In the Dubai Miracle Garden, this mammoth-sized aeroplane was recreated with the use of flowers of seven different species: Marigold, Viola, Geranium, Coleus, Gaillardia, Petunia and Snapdragon. It took almost 200 days to make it look as amazing as it does today. The 500,000 flowers used made the structure weigh over 100 ton while it took four months to harvest the required quantity of flowers for making the Emirates Airbus A380. In typical Dubai style, this floral extravaganza is also a record-breaking attraction. In 2016 it was recognised as the world’s largest floral installation by the Guinness Book of World Records.
