Sajaa Sharjah is an industrial area. It is part of the 14 million square feet industrial zone in the city, the largest in the UAE. The strategic development is built by Sharjah Asset Management Holding (SAM). Moreover, mixed-use and retail space is added to the area, which initially had 353 industrial units. It is close to Sharjah International Airport, Al Hamriyah Port and Free Zone and the main road which makes it well-connected to the West coast of the UAE. Al Sajaa is also home to Al Saja Industrial Oasis (ASIO).

Sajaa Industrial suburb covers a massive landmass of 14,000,000 square feet. Initially, it offered a number of plots, but now one can find warehouses, industrial lands, offices and many commercial plots for rent and sale. Because of being home to a large number of industries, there are several labour camps for rent within the district.

The workers depend on buses run by employers. The nearest public bus stop at an 8-minute drive is Sharjah Cement Factory. Etisalat Metro Station is the closest metro station around 28 minutes away.

SUPERMARKETS IN SAJAA SHARJAH
There are numerous supermarkets in Saja Sharjah. Qalaat Al Madina Supermarket is in the centre of the area near Aman Insurance Yard. Welayat Al Madina Supermarket is right next to it. At a short drive of 4 minutes, one can spot Al Thana Super Market, Al Basra Supermarket, and Hibat Al Madina Supermarket. These are well-stocked and have all the necessary grocery items. Within a drive of 10 minutes, there are Al Thahab Al Madina Supermarket, Madina Al Sajaa Supermarket, Safa Al Khaleej Supermarket and Fajr Al Madeena Supermarket.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN SAJAA SHARJAH
The industrial hub is close to several churches. Saint Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Orthodox Parish is near Al Dhahak Bin Harethah Street at a 27-minute drive. Dubai Orthodox Church, Church of God, Christian Fellowship Church and Church of The Living God is at the same distance.
Hindu temples are at quite a distance from Sajaa. Shiva Temple and Shrinath Ji Temple are about 50 minutes away.
Muslims can easily reach one of the mosques in Al Sajaa. Al Irfan Mosque is in the centre of Sajaa industrial area whereas Al Sa’ad Mosque, Masjib Ayman, Al Khair Mosque, and Omar Ibn Abi Waqqas Mosque are not more than 8 minutes away.

Preschoolers can join one of the closely located nurseries. At a convenient distance of 14 minutes, there are two nurseries such as Barashi Nursery and Al Rahmaniya Nursery. Schools near Saja Sharjah are well-reputed ones.
GEMS Our Own English High School is 22 minutes away. The school franchise is one of the oldest in the UAE and is now managed by GEMS Education. It offers CBSE curriculum.
The nearest school is Al Resalah American International School at a 10-minute drive. It is a private school that was established in 2015. Offering the American Curriculum, the school provides education from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
CLINICS AND HOSPITALS NEAR SAJAA SHARJAH
Various clinics and hospitals near Saja Sharjah can be reached within half an hour. Royal Hospital is the nearest at a 15-minute drive. It is a 16-bed multi-specialty hospital with state-of-the-art healthcare facilities. Al Qasimi Hospital is 23 minutes away. Zulekha Hospital and Kuwait Hospital are half an hour away.
Al Sajaa is close to Sharjah-Dhaid highway. Al Rahmaniya is a next-door neighbour while Juwaiza industrial area is towards the south. Al Bataeh is towards the east of Sajaa Sharjah. The nearest residential community is Al Gharayen near Sharjah International Airport.

MALLS NEAR SAJAA SHARJAH
There are some popular malls near Sajaa Sharjah. City Centre Sharjah is 26 minutes away. It is set in the heart of Sharjah along Al Wahda Street. It has recently gone under renovation to become a regional entertainment and shopping destination. The mall offers a mix of 143 international brand outlets, a 12-screen VOX cinema and an expansive food court.
Al Arab Mall is half an hour away. This mall covers 271,000 sq. ft. featuring several stores and a Nesto hypermarket.
RESTAURANTS IN SAJA SHARJAH
There are many restaurants in Saja Sharjah, most of which are pocket-friendly. Kanz Al Saja Restaurant is within the area. Some other eateries within the vicinity include Sama Al Khan Restaurant, Wadi Al Khair Kitchen, Najmat Al Saja Restaurant, Bait Al Bukhari and Al Othmani Restaurant.
Najmat Al Saja has authentic Pakistani dishes on the menu including biryani, daal fry, pulao and chicken karahi. Bait Al Bukhari offers a mix of Pakistani, Indian, and Afghani cuisine. It is a small restaurant with a capacity of 30 people. The restaurant also offers free delivery.
BEACHES NEAR SAJA SHARJAH
Popular beaches of Sharjah such as Al Hamriyah Public Beach are almost half an hour away from Saja Sharjah. There is a 3-metre wide walking track in Al Hamriyah Beach making it a good option for people who like to keep themselves fit. Al Khan Beach is around 40 minutes away. It features a 600-metre stretch of sand and dedicated swimming area. Visitors can enjoy kayaking, kite surfing, parasailing, and flyboarding at Al Khan Beach.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND NOTABLE LANDMARKS
Some key landmarks near Sajaa Sharjah include Sharjah National Park. It is towards the west and covers nearly 630,000 sq. ft. The park has a huge jungle themed area with slides and rope ladders for kids. It has a dedicated barbecue area and sports courts. The attractions of the park include a duck pond, cycling track and a giant slide. Adults are charged AED 6 while children under 5 years can enter without a fee.
Sharjah Desert Park is right next to Saja Sharjah, towards the east. This park showcases Arabian flora and fauna and is home to Sharjah Zoo and Sharjah Botanical Museum. On average, 300,000 people visit the park every year.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, FITNESS AND BEAUTY
Camel racing is an ancient Bedouin sport and people who like to explore more about it can visit Al Tallah Camel Race Course, located at a short distance. It is in Ajman but not more than 15 minutes away from the area. The racecourse welcomes visitors from October to March. Annual Camel Festival is held every year in Al Tallah Camel Race Course in February which attracts a lot of visitors.
There are a few gyms for those who like to work out in a well-equipped facility. Al Qasr Al Fadhi Fitness Gym is 7 minutes away. Another one is 26 minutes away namely Attrafit Fitness. It is a ladies only gym. Almost at the same distance are Time Gym and Blue Star Gym near Al Hamidia.
A number of gents’ salons can be spotted within a short drive. Mohammed Tariq Gents Salon is 5 minutes away while Qamar Gents Salon is at a 7-minute drive.
