WISE Indian Academy, formerly known as Al Saad Indian School, is an Indian curricular school in Ajman. In 2016, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – a premier educational group took control of the Al Saad Indian School and revamped the structure to improve its educational programme.

WISE Indian Academy is a K-10 school in Al Jurf 2 following the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. The school strives to become a premier educational institution in Ajman, with its structured curriculum and school facilities. Majority of students at this school are Indian; however, students from other nations also coexist. A team of experienced teachers, predominantly Indians, teaches them. • Schools must ensure provisions to support social distancing. A minimum of 2 metres is recommended among students and staff. This also requires schools to reduce the school bus capacity to ensure students can practise social distancing on the bus.
• Educational institutes must sanitise their campus and facilities, such as educational resources, classrooms, doorknobs and other frequently contacted surfaces, periodically.
• School canteens and catering service will operate as per their specific guidelines. Sharing of food is not allowed. Parents are encouraged to send their kids to school with a home-packed lunch box and a water bottle.
• Children with special health conditions will be monitored closely by the ministry.
• Schools must reduce the activities, such as field trips, extra-curricular activities, morning assemblies, sports events, resulting in gathering a large crowd. Such activities may accelerate the spread of the virus.
• Some sports facilities, such as swimming pools, will remain closed until further notice. Schools can follow a staggered approach to continue physical education.
• Cleaning and maintenance crew are not allowed to enter the school premises in presence of students. Such activities must be carried out after regular school hours.
• Students and teachers must wear a mask at all times throughout the campus. Students below six years old are exempted from wearing facemasks.
• The school fee remains the same for the current academic year. Schools can offer discounts to parents as they deem fit.

The Ministry of Education has mandated schools to offer distance learning provisions besides in-class learning, especially in the first phase of reopening. The school has a WISE Indian Academy LMS to cater to the online learning needs of students. Distance learning format might differ from school to school and term to term, but students opting for this model will be kept updated on the curriculum followed.

The academic year of the WISE Indian Academy starts in April and ends in March.

The admission process at Bhavans WISE Indian Academy is simple and straightforward. To apply, register your child by submitting the online application form. Currently, the school does not offer any scholarship programme to its students. The nominal tuition fee makes up for the lack of scholarship programmes at WISE Indian Academy.

The school has a canteen where students can buy hot and cold food items at affordable prices.

The school timing is 8:00 am to 1:00 pm for students in KG1 to Grade 2 and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm for students in Grade 3 and above. To ensure students reach school on time, WISE Indian Academy offers safe and reliable transport service. The academy outsourced its transportation operations to Al Tameem Cars and Bus Rental LLC. It is an experienced transport service provider in the United Arab Emirates who owns a fleet of well-maintained buses. The buses are equipped with modern security and safety features to offer the best travelling experience. Currently, the school has reduced its bus capacity to ensure students can practise social distancing on the bus. This step is taken considering the risk associated with COVID-19 pandemic.

WISE Indian Academy Ajman is a day-only school. It does not provide boarding or accommodation facilities to students. Those unable to reach school on time can opt for the school transport service. WISE Indian Academy does not have a holiday camp to entertain children during the seasonal breaks. Parents can opt for external camps providers to keep their children busy.

The school has limited sports facilities at the campus. There exists an outdoor field for students to play football and other outdoor sports. The outdoor grassy field is also used to conduct annual sports competitions where students participate in a range of sports activities. The academy also has a shaded kindergarten play area with playing equipment.

Please note that some sports facilities might be unavailable to students for the current academic year. This step is taken because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Field trips are an essential part of the enrichment programme for students at WISE Indian Academy. Students are allowed to explore the world around them. The school takes students to recreational spots across the country, particularly Ajman and Dubai. The most popular field arranged by the WISE Indian Academy was the visit to Sharjah Zoo. Currently, the only after-school care provided at the school is in the form of extra-curricular activities.

The school is currently not providing any after-school support for the academic year 2020-2021 because of COVID-19 pandemic.
