Admission and Fees

How to Apply to Summit International School?

Summit International School admissions are open from Kindergarten to Grade 9. Parents are encouraged to take school to ensure that SIS is the best fit for their child.

The enrolment procedure is as follows:

  • During the school tour, a representative will answer queries parents may have regarding fee structure, policy, age requirements etc. Parents will also receive school brochure and other necessary information.
  • Once the tour is complete, parents are required to fill and submit the admission form. If there is a place available on the waitlist, the school’s admission team will contact the parents and schedule an assessment/interview.
  • If the student passes the assessment/interview, the admissions team will send across an official offer letter to the parents. Upon submission, the following documents and its photocopies must be submitted:

  • The enrolment is subject to approval from the Ministry of Education. Student’s admission is successful if the TC submitted to the admission office is approved and the student meets the age requirement for the pertaining grade.

School Transportation at SIS

Summit International School provides a safe and reliable transportation service for students. SIS students can avail the service for AED 5,000 per year. The rates are standard for every grade level. The transportation fees cannot be paid in instalments and should be paid in full prior to the commencement of the academic year.

Sports Facilities

SIS encourages fitness among students. It organises a variety of games and sports activities to promote health, fitness and sportsmanship. Athletically inclined students can make use of these sports facilities:

  • A shaded outdoor play area for students to play in during breaks and designated P.E periods

Extra-curricular Activities at Summit School

Summit offers a range of co-curricular activities and encourages students’ active participation. Some extracurricular activities and events include the likes of:

To sign up for these activities, students must fill and submit the co-curricular activities registration form to their respective homeroom teachers. ECAs are scheduled weekly, on Thursdays.

Field Trips from SIS

To equip students with the necessary skills and abilities that extend beyond textbook learning, SIS regularly conducts educational outings. The teaching staff organises these trips aimed at developing students’ social and cultural knowledge.

Students visit various events in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates, such as festivals, exhibitions, fairs and museums.

Medical Care at Summit International School

SIS has a medical clinic that provides emergency treatment for students. The school maintains students’ medical records and ensures that appropriate health services are administered and documented.

Mode of Communication between Teachers and Parents

Summit International School has a Summit Parent Advisory Committee (SPAC) to establish strong links between home and school. Through SPAC, the school holds regular meetings with the management, parents and teaching staff.
