The Step by Step Nursery Mirdif, Dubai and Step By Step Nursery Dubailand, Layan campus offer children a safe and secure learning environment. The facility has a stimulating and bright indoor play area, an outdoor play area with a sandpit, a water play area and a soft floor play area.

Step by Step Nursery Dubai classrooms have been carefully designed to stimulate learning while playing. The campuses have climbing and balance equipment to mainly work on kids' motor skills. Step By Step Dubai follows a British education approach, combining the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the Reggio Emilia approach. The combination allows children to self-learn and explore the world around them. This nursery works closely with parents to know about every child exceptionally well through its key person system.

Step By Step Abu Dhabi follows a unique combination of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Reggio Emilia's educational and developmental programme approach. It also has a specialised preschool curriculum enriched by language programmes to meet the linguistic needs of young learners.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a popular British curriculum framework to help students adapt to the school environment. Unlike other rigorous curricula, it follows an informal approach based on play-and-learn strategies. As an EYFS nursery, it follows three prime and four specific areas of learning to prepare them for school.

Prime areas of learning are:

Step by Step Nursery admission starts with booking a tour and choosing a programme that best suits the child.

 For registration, these documents are required:   

• Application form
• Medical form
• Photos of child
• Copies of the child’s Emirates ID (front and back), visa and passport
• Copies of both parents' Emirates ID (front and back) visa and passport
• Copies of the child’s birth certificate
• Copies of the child’s vaccination records

For completing the registration process, AED 1,000 has to be paid as a registration fee and AED 1,000 as medical charges. 

Parents can choose from these programmes:

Children aged less than 3 can join the nursery for 2, 3 or 5 days for the following slots:

• 07:30 am – 01:30 pm
• 07:30 am – 03:00 pm
• 07:30 am – 05:00 pm

For Foundation Stage 1 children, Step by Step Nursery in Dubai offers a minimum 5-day programme as follows:

• 07:30 am – 05:00 pm

Step by Step Nursery works in partnership with ECA providers to design a range of extracurricular classes for students aged two and above. Some popular activities include football, gymnastics and dance. Each activity session lasts almost 40 minutes with specialist coaches. A session is offered as a 10-week programme. Enrolment takes place during the initial weeks of each new term.

Step by Step Nursery offers daycare and childcare services for young children, providing a nurturing environment that closely mirrors their home care. Children are provided with designated nap times, feeding schedules and a smooth transition to solid foods. They spend their day playing in soft play areas or resting in designated nap areas. The nursery's layout is designed to accommodate the limited mobility of infants, with baby units located near the exits and the main nursery rooms.

Step by Step Nursery adheres to the National Childcare Standards of the UAE and the UK Welfare Standards. 

The nursery has implemented a healthy eating policy. It works with its catering provider to provide a well-balanced meal plan consisting of a morning snack, hot lunch and afternoon snack. 

All staff members have received level 1 Child Protection and Safeguarding training, and the nursery manager, who serves as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, holds a level 3 Child Protection and Safeguarding certificate. Additionally, all staff members are trained in pediatric first aid. 

The Dubai Health Authority regulates the clinic and nurse to ensure all requirements are met. Regulatory bodies such as the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the Dubai Health Authority, the Dubai Municipality, the Civil Defense, and the Ministry of Labour regularly monitor Step by Step Nursery. 

To maintain security, access to the campus is restricted to visitors through a secure entry intercom system, and CCTV cameras monitor the building.

Parents get daily updates about their child's day at the nursery via the Parent Cloud app. The nursery also welcomes regular feedback through survey forms and suggestion boxes. The parents association is established at the start of each school year to support the wider community and welcome new parents.
