OVERVIEW

Safa Early Learning Centre is a British nursery in Dubai, established in 1979. It has two campuses in the emirate; one in Al Badaa and the other in Jumeirah. The nursery is open from Sunday to Thursday from 07:15 am to 06:00 pm.

The nursery is approved by the Knowledge and Human Developmental Authority (KHDA) and is ISO-certified. It follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.

Campuses of Safa Early Learning Centre

Safa Early Learning Centre currently has two campuses in Dubai. The first branch is in Al Badaa, while the other campus is in Jumeirah. The nursery has bright and spacious classrooms with the necessary educational resources. These campuses also have swimming pools, indoor and outdoor play areas.

Why Safa Early Learning Centre?

Al Safa Early Learning Centre is a highly reputable early childhood educational institute. Its educational programme involves learning through play and is based on the EYFS Framework. The staff at Safa Early Learning Centre is competent and well-experienced. 

All the teachers at both campuses have at least an Early Childhood Education Level 3 diploma, while teaching assistants hold a Level 1 in the same discipline. Moreover, both campuses have registered nurses and doctors to ensure the safety and health of the little ones.

Curriculum of Safa Early Learning Centre

The nursery follows the British curriculum based on the EYFS Framework. It has seven key areas of learning that are split into two broad categories: prime and specific areas of learning. 

The prime areas of learning are:

  • Social, Emotional and Personal Development
  • Physical Development
  • Communication and Language

The specific areas of learning are:

  • Expressive Arts and Designs
  • Understanding the world
  • Numeracy
  • Language

The curricular activities for each age group are:

In the toddler I stage, the nursery offers activities such as music and movement, singing, educational play, jigsaw puzzles, nursery rhymes, play house activities and arts and crafts. Children also participate in water play sessions. All these activities aim to improve social and language skills of children.

In the toddler II stage, the nursery focuses on building observational skills, attention span, curiosity and imagination. Furthermore, the nursery offers arts and crafts, music and physical activities. Other activities at this nursery are music and movement, singing, puzzles, storytelling and construction games. Children are also introduced to shapes, colours and numbers.

In the Foundation Stage I, the nursery encourages children to be independent. Furthermore, it offers various opportunities to explore, investigate and use creativity. Various indoor and outdoor activities will be conducted to improve children’s fine and gross motor skills. The activities of the FS I curriculum are jolly phonics, verbal reasoning, numbers, presentation, reading and writing, arts and crafts, role-play, building blocks, play dough moulding, group games, songs and storytelling.

In the Foundation Stage II, the nursery prepares children for a smooth transition into formal teaching methods of schools. Most activities in this stage focus on developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and creativity. Besides this, other activities in this age group include basic mathematical operations, such as addition, subtraction, grouping, measuring and sequencing.

Special Educational Support

Al Safa Early Learning Centre Al Badaa collaborates with external service providers, such as occupational and speech therapists, to assist children in overcoming difficulties.

ADMISSION AND FEES

How to Apply at Safa Early Learning Centre

Those interested in enrolling their kids at Al Safa Early Learning Centre Fees can start the admission process by filling up the admission form. To initiate the process, download the registration form available on the school website. The documents to be submitted along with the application are:

  • Six recent passport-size photographs
  • One photocopy of the passport
  • One photocopy of the residence visa
  • One photocopy of Emirates ID
  • One photocopy of the birth certificate
  • One photocopy of the vaccination record

Other forms required for the admission process are:

  • One registration form
  • One medical form
  • One collection consent form
  • One bus collection consent form
  • One photo and social media permission form
  • One signed parent-nursery contract
  • One child profile form for teachers

The nursery also requires parent’s documents, which are as follows:

  • One photocopy of the mother’s and father’s passport
  • One photocopy of the mother’s and father’s residence visa
  • One photocopy of the mother’s and father’s Emirates ID cards

Once submitted, the nursery will contact you on the provided contact details. If admission is offered, parents must pay the required deposit to secure admission.

Fee Structure of Safa Early Learning Centre

The fee structure at Al Safa Early Learning Centre Dubai consists of two programmes. The 5 days programme is for TODDLERS, FS1 and FS2. It costs around AED 9,000 to AED 11,000 per term.
