How to Apply to Riverwood Nursery?

Parents must apply for admission by filling out the registration form, submitting mandatory documents and paying a non-refundable registration fee.

Fee Structure at Riverwood Nursery, Abu Dhabi

Riverwood Nursery Abu Dhabi fee can be paid through cash or cheque before the beginning of each term. The tuition fee is payable in advance and is non-transferable and non-refundable. The late fee is AED 25 per hour and has a grace period of one week only.

Extra-Curricular Activities at Riverwood Nursery

Childcare Options

The school is usually operational from 08:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. Parents can opt for early drop off at 06:45 a.m. for an early bird fee of AED 25 per hour and free early drop off from 07:30 a.m. 

After-school and childcare options are available from 02:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m., charged at AED 25 per hour. The daily schedule is available on the nursery website.

Health and Safety Measures

Riverwood does its best to promote a healthy and safe culture within the nursery. It implements proper safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for both children and staff. 

  • This includes making safety arrangements and taking steps to avoid any potential health risks.
  • Regular checks are conducted to identify structural defects, worn fixtures or faulty electrical equipment.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises.
  • Safety plugs protect all electrical sockets, and no wires are left out.
  • To prevent triggering allergies, food items such as peanuts are avoided.
  • Staff is familiar with the location of first-aid boxes, and children are supervised at all times to ensure they remain safe.

Children are encouraged to wash their hands after using the toilet and before eating. They are supervised while washing their hands to ensure cleanliness. The nappy changing facility is cleaned after every use. 

Parents are requested to pack healthy snacks and lunches for their children. They have to avoid sweets, cakes, crisps and chocolates. Children are encouraged to self-feed under staff assistance.

Mode of Communication with Parents

Riverwood Nursery in MBZ Abu Dhabi believes that quality care for children can only be achieved when parents and the nursery work together as partners. It encourages a two-way sharing of information to ensure that parents are always kept in the loop. 

Parents are welcome to view the CCTV footage in the office as part of its commitment to transparency. Riverwood maintains regular contact with parents through open days, parents' evenings, and forums. It also keeps parents informed about all activities and events through social media and is always prompt in addressing any complaints they may have. 

Parents can contact the manager in writing in case of unresolved issues and expect a response within three to five working days. Any concerns or complaints can be raised with the principal/manager via email or phone.
