Redwood Montessori Nursery was founded in 2012 in Abu Dhabi. It follows the authentic Montessori method for students aged 3 months to 6 years and has multiple branches in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Redwood has well-designed campuses. Children’s rooms have premium wooden furniture for added safety, and everything is scaled to suit children. Every campus of Redwood Nursery has multiple outdoor zones for children to play and learn comfortably. Children can play, climb and do water activities on campus.

All Kids First Group Nursery manages Redwood Nursery and aims to encourage the philosophy of playing hard, working hard and making the most of every opportunity. Students are taught to achieve their full potential with the help of teachers.

The Montessori approach developed by Maria Montessori supports young children's basic social, cognitive, and social development. The Montessori encourages kids to explore their interests through various extracurricular activities, including dance, sports, music, theatre and language.

Children develop concentration, coordination, language skills and responsibility using a varied curriculum. This makes their transition into school easier.

Sensorial exercises are part of the curriculum and are done through materials and lessons to refine a child’s senses. Exercise materials are designed to simplify learning and introduce environmental awareness. Children develop patterning skills utilised in Maths and language concepts. Sensorial growth revolves around sight, taste, smell, sound and touch. 

The children's curriculum includes mathematics to teach them about numbers, counting, measurements, fractions, and basic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Students gradually learn to associate each number with a symbol as they progress.
At Redwood, the curriculum is designed to be rich in arts, which is integrated into almost every subject taught at the nursery. This includes music, art and movement and is taught to children ranging from young babies to students up to five years old. Furthermore, art is incorporated into cultural studies, literature, history, and other areas of learning.

To enrol their child at Redwood Nursery, parents must complete an online registration on the official website. A representative from Redwood will then reach out to assist with the registration process. 

Parents will be required to select the days and times their child will attend the nursery. In addition, they must submit certain mandatory documents, including:

Redwood Montessori Nursery fees will be payable when the kid first attends the nursery. The Redwood Montessori Nursery fee is in accordance with Kids First Group under the instructions of MOE/ADEK’s established school fee framework.

The nursery also offers 5 to 10% sibling discounts in the form of savings.

Redwood Montessori Nursery is operational from 07:30 am to 06:00 pm. The afternoon programme is effective from 01:00 pm to 06:00 pm.

Redwood Nursery in Dubai and Abu Dhabi has a comprehensive extra-curricular programme for the holistic development of children. Extra-Curricular activities are part of Redwood’s commitment to building a community-based environment.

Tennis, gymnastics, ballet, yoga, dance, music and movement are some key activities at this nursery chain.

Redwood Nursery offers daycare/childcare services for children three months and older. The after-school care service is available until 06:00 pm.

The registered nurse visits each room regularly to discuss and review any health-related issues and accidents/injuries in the last 24 hours. The nurse is responsible for ensuring that the child comes to the nursery in good health and remains so. This also ensures all health and safety policies are implemented throughout the campus. 

Redwood is a nut-free nursery. Parents are requested to send healthy snacks and lunches. Also, chocolates are strictly prohibited and can be removed from the lunch box.

Redwood Nursery Montessori values the importance of parents' involvement in their child's development. To facilitate this, it requests parents to download the Educore app to receive reports, event-related information and up to six photos of their child daily. The app also allows parents to communicate with teachers and receive prompt replies.
