How to Apply to Philadelphia Private School?

Philadelphia Private School’s admission process is nonselective. The school appreciates the individuality of each child and compensate them wherever possible.

Unlike other schools, PPS first conducts placement tests, and interviews and lets parents proceed with the registration.

First, relevant section heads and the principal will interview the applicants. If required, the school counsellor will also interview afterwards. Interviewers assess students’ overall personalities and spot any potential behaviour risks.

The four things that interviewers are looking at include:

  • Speech
  • Communication skills
  • Social skills and manners
  • Problem-solving skills

A formal assessment session will be carried out after the interview. Parents are advised to collect information files from the Human Resource department and pay an assessment fee. They will be provided with a schedule for an assessment and school tour. Assessment and second screening results will be forwarded to the principal for approval. Then, parents will fill out the registration form with the necessary documents and registration fee.

  • A 10% discount is offered on the third sibling’s tuition fees.
  • The school also offers a 15% discount on the first child’s tuition fees. There is a 10% discount on the second child’s tuition fees for parents who already have three children studying at PPS, Dubai.
  • The school also offers a 15% discount on the first and second child’s tuition fees and a 10% discount on the third child’s tuition fees if parents have four children studying at PPS, Muhaisnah.

Please note that the tuition fee includes the use of textbooks (returned in good condition at the end of the academic year).
