Established in 1979, Pakistani School Ajman (PSA) serves the Pakistani expatriate community in Ajman and the neighbouring emirates. The international school is recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education and affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate Secondary Education Islamabad. The school has separate sections for boys and girls and can accommodate over 1,500 students.

To protect children and staff during the pandemic, Pakistani School Ajman strictly adheres to these covid-prevention SOPs:

  • Deep cleansing and sanitisation of the school and school buses

PSA’s curriculum, as stated earlier, is based on the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad (FBISE), Pakistan guidelines. Graduating students get a Secondary School Certificate at the end of Grade 10 and a Higher Secondary School Certificate at the end of Grade 12.

English is the medium of instruction at the school, but Arabic and Urdu are also taught as compulsory subjects.

Students of Pre-Primary mainly learn through play. They acquire basic skills such as numeracy and literacy. In the Primary and Middle sections, core subjects are:

Distance Learning at Pakistani School Ajman

Pakistani School Ajman’s e-learning programme for all grades ensures a seamless learning experience during the pandemic. Parents and students should follow these rules to ensure the success of online classes:

  • Students’ cameras should be turned on during the class. Those with cameras off will not be allowed to continue the online class.
  • Students should use English for communication during the class.
  • Students should be in the school uniform.
  • They must have their notebooks, pencil and pen ready.
  • Students who leave during the live session will not be allowed to re-join.
  • They will not be allowed to enter the class after 8 am.

How to Apply to Pakistani School Ajman?

Parents interested in Pakistani School Ajman admissions can visit the school and register their child for an entrance exam. The entrance exam is scheduled under the professional education team. Please note that the final admission decision depends on the entrance exam result and the previous school report.

Parents must submit the following mandatory documents at the time of admission. All documents must be on A4 size paper with neat photocopies.

  • Health card given by the school
  • Three photographs of the student
  • Birth certificate (attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs- front and back)
  • Immunisation card/ school medical file
  • Passport copy of students with a valid visa
  • Emirates ID card of student
  • Result card/progress report of a previous class
  • Attested school leaving certificates

For schools based in Pakistan, the following departments must attest the certificate:

  • District Education officer
  • IBCC other than Pakistani Board
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan

Transfer Certificate Original (for UAE schools) must be:

  • Attested by the Educational Zone of concerned Emirates.
  • Parents also must submit:
    • Result Card / DMC / Provisional certificate for Grade 9th, 10th and 11th.
    • Migration Certificate for FBISE Islamabad (Original) for 9th, 10th and 11th grade.
    • Father’s Passport Copy with valid visa page.
