Our Own English High School Fujairah was established in 1988 by H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi. The school is an approved IGCSE centre by the University of Cambridge.

OOEHS Fujairah offers classes from Kindergarten (Reception) to Grade 12. Currently, around 3,250 students are enrolled at the school and belong to 39 different countries.

Our Own English High School Fujairah students can work on their sports skills as there is a cricket pitch, a football field, a throwball and a basketball court. To better understand science and technology, students can head to the three high-tech ICT labs, dedicated labs for Chemistry and Physics, and the General Science lab. There is plenty of parking space outside the school.

ADMISSION AND FEES

How to Apply to Our Own English High School Fujairah?

The process of Own English High School Fujairah admission is simple. Applicants can use the online enrollment form available on the school’s official website. Once the online registration is completed, the applicant receives a code for the application which will be used for further correspondence. The school publishes an enquiry list on the school’s notice board with further updates about admission within ten days of the online registration closure.

Selected applicants who applied for KG1/Reception 2 need to appear for an interview with the principal or the headmistress.

For admission in KG2/Reception 2 and above, the applicant must pass an entrance assessment and attain 65% marks in English and Mathematics.
Students who are seeking admission in Grade 11 have to take the test for Science. When the applicant successfully passes the examination, an interview with the principal is scheduled.

Once the admission is confirmed, a non-refundable registration fee of AED 500 has to be paid along with a one-month advance tuition fee. The school gives priority to siblings of existing students for admission in KG1/KG2 and Grade 1.

The age criteria for CBSE KG1 is 4+. The child should have completed four years on or before 31st July of the academic year.

For IGCSE, KG 1 applicants must be four years of age on or before 31st August. For admission in Grade 1, the child must be six years of age.

All applications are processed after the submission of necessary documents. These include:

  • Original Emirates ID of the student
  • Copy of the student passport with valid residence visa
  • Copy of the immunisation card
  • Copy of the birth certificate
  • Copy of the original mark sheet of the last examination passed at the previous school
  • Original certificate from the previous school attended (duly attested)
  • Copy of the family book (for UAE nationals only)
  • Four recent passport size photographs
  • Copy of parents Emirates ID
