KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM

At the lower kindergarten (LKG) and upper kindergarten (UKG) level, the primary focus is to create an atmosphere of learning where students can develop their skill in communication and numeracy. Admission and Fees

How to Apply to Our Own English High School Al Ain

Parents looking to enrol their child at GEMS OOEHS Al Ain can enrol online. While enrolling online, parents are requested to upload the following documents:

  • Copies of Parents Passport, Visa and Emirates ID
  • Copies of Students Passport, Visa and Emirates ID
  • Behaviour Certificate
  • Mid-term report card OR final report card

Admissions commences mid-November for CBSE and late May for CIE. In both cases, admission procedures laid down by the MoE are the same. Parents must ensure that the children meet the Age Guidelines set by the Ministry of Education before enrolling online.

The following documents are expected to be submitted along with the registration form:

  • 2 copies of the student’s passport with a valid visa for the UAE.
  • 4 recent passport-size and 2 stamp-size photographs for the bus card.
  • 2 photocopies of the Birth Certificate in English or Arabic (Along with the original).
  • Students not born in the UAE must submit the attested Birth Certificate.
  • Photocopy of the original mark sheet for the last examination passed at the previous school. (This is required for students from Grade 2 onwards).
  • Students seeking admission to the school from Grade 2 and upwards are required to submit the original Transfer Certificate from the school last attended (in English or Arabic), duly attested as per the following guidelines:
    • Students transferring from outside the UAE must have their TC verified by the Education Officer of the Zone/District/Area from where the TC was obtained. The seal and signature of the E.O have to be attested by the respective embassies in Abu Dhabi. The TC must also have the attestation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
    • Students transferring from other Gulf Countries must have their TC attested by the Ministry of Education of that country, stamped by the Ministry of External Affairs of that country.
    • Students transferring from within the UAE other than Al Ain must have their TC attested by the Ministry of Education of the relevant Emirate.

For new admissions, a non-refundable/non-transferable registration fee equivalent to 5% of the annual tuition fees is expected to be paid upon acceptance of the offer letter and confirmation of enrolment in the applicable academic year. The registration fee is then adjusted against the first term tuition fee.
