COVID-19 Protocols

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has collaborated with parents, schools and other stakeholders to come up with a plan to safely reopen schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 protocols issued by the MOE are as follows:

  • Social distancing to be ensured by students and staff at all times throughout the campus. Students must maintain a distance of 2 metres from each other. social distancing should also be followed on the school bus. For this, schools can reduce bus capacity by 50% during the pandemic.
  • Students, staff and authorised personnel must get their body temperature checked outside the school. No one with a temperature above 37.5-degree centigrade will be allowed to enter the premises.
  • Schools must get their campuses, including classrooms, laboratories, educational resources and frequently contacted surfaces, sterilised with disinfectants periodically.
  • School catering service will operate as per the specific guidelines issued by the MOE. Sharing of food is strictly prohibited. Parents are encouraged to pack their child a lunchbox and water bottle for the day.
  • Children with special health conditions will be closely monitored by the ministry.
  • Schools must limit extracurricular activities, morning assemblies, sports events, celebrations, field trips and other activities that may result in a large gathering.
  • Physical education will continue; however, access to some sports facilities, such as swimming pools, is not allowed until further notice.
  • Maintenance and cleaning staff are not allowed to enter the campus in presence of students.
  • The school fee will remain the same; however, schools can offer discounts to parents as they deem fit.

How to Apply to Leaders Private School Sharjah?

Leaders Private School Sharjah has a simple admission process to facilitate parents. They can enrol their child by filling out an online registration form available at the website.
