The International School of Choueifat (ISC) Ras Al Khaimah follows the SABIS Education Programme as the curricular framework. ISC RAS Al Khaimah follows a dynamic approach to education. In this approach, all the school faculty, including leadership and teacher, administrative staff and other members, play a vital role. The main product of this team is knowledge and education delivered to students.

The curriculum is academically rigorous and focuses on extensive learning and understanding of subjects. Through the sophisticated educational programme, ISC RAK develops learning capabilities, academic competencies, interpersonal skills, learning techniques and personalities. Furthermore, it instils high moral, ethical and civic values among students.

At ISC RAK, teachers follow a unique teaching pedagogy that is usually practised in SABIS Schools. Class-based teaching is mostly followed to cover the syllabus. The courses for all standards are structured. Thus, both teachers and students are aware of the expectations. Teachers teach one subject at a time using the SABIS Point System. This is followed by the third stage – students’ follow up which deals with peer reviews and teachers’ feedback.

Additional Support

Besides the regular courses, the school offers special academic support to those in need. There are three special academic support courses offered by the International School of Choueifat Ras Al Khaimah. The first course i.e. summer school is offered during June and August. Students that are academically below the required standard for admission can become a part of this programme. The second programme is a special lesson. This course is for students that need academic support in one or more subjects. Full-special classes are accelerated programmes encompassing topics for two or more years squeezed into a one-year programme.

First term

The first term at this school starts in the last week of September. The term concludes in the second week of December. This is followed by a three-week winter vacation from the third week of December.

Second Term

The second term commences in the first week of January and ends in the second last week of March. After the end of the second term, students of ISC RAK go on a 3-week spring break. The break starts in the last week of March and ends in the second week of April.

Third Term

The admission process at the International School of Choueifat Ras Al Khaimah is straightforward. It follows a non-inclusive and non-selective admission policy to enrol students. The criteria for getting admission at this school is based on academic attainment; however, age is a limiting factor. ISC RAK accepts admission applications throughout the year. However, it is recommended that the parents start the admission process at earliest.

If you are interested in enrolling your child at the International School of Choueifat Ras Al Khaimah, submit the online application form available on the school website. The form requires you to provide basic information and upload documents necessary to initiate the admission process.
