Managed by PACE Education, Gulf Asian English School (GAES) opened in 1975 as Sharjah Montessori School. GAES attained high school status in 1991, and in 1993, it was affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE), New Delhi.

The school is located in Muwailih Commercial – a community close to the industrial districts of Sharjah and the emirate of Dubai. The campus is close to one of the main highways of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311).

How to Apply to Gulf Asian English School?

Gulf Asian English School’s admission process is open to children belonging to all nationalities. You can start the admission process by registering your child online. Once the registration is completed, your child will be called for an entrance exam.

Please bear in mind that admission of your child depends on the performance in the entrance exam. Admission for KG 1 starts in November/December and for the rest of the classes in January.

Also, priority is given to siblings of the existing students during admission. Parents are requested to submit the following documents during the admission process.

  • Photocopy of the child’s passport with the valid UAE visa
  • Three recent passport-sized photographs of the child
  • Copy of the Birth Certificate
  • Copy of the Emirates ID
  • Photocopy of the original Mark Sheet of the last examination passed at the previous school (This is required for Grade 2 students and onwards).
  • From Grade 2 onwards, students are required to submit the Original Transfer Certificate Or School Leaving Certificate as per the guidelines given below:
  • For schools outside the UAE, the Transfer Certificate (in English) must be:
    • Attested and signed by the District Education Officer (for State / Matriculation Schools) / Zonal or Regional Officer (for CBSE / ICSE schools)
    • Attested by The UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin
    • The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • For schools within the UAE, students are required to submit the original Transfer Certificate Or School Leaving Certificate of the school last attended, attested by the Ministry of Education for the Emirate (for other than Sharjah Zone Schools).
