Greenopia is an eco-friendly nursery in Abu Dhabi. It caters to students aged 18 months to 4 years. The nursery was founded in 2017, and it follows the Reggio-inspired curriculum. Greenopia aims to provide a nature-friendly atmosphere for young learners to instil the significance of the environment and ecology from the start. To achieve this, the institution has incorporated sustainable and eco-conscious practices in its curriculum and operations. Greenopia Nursery Abu Dhabi has a well-equipped campus. It has a shaded outdoor area where children spend their time every day. The classrooms are designed keeping children in mind.

Greenopia Nursery is based in villa number 5 opposite to Al Mushrif Central Park on Karamah Street in Al Rowdah, Abu Dhabi.

Greenopia Nursery, Abu Dhabi, follows the perspective of mothers know best and its vision is driven by it. The nursery responds to every mother's aspiration by providing an eco-friendly setting recognised and licensed by NAEYC and Eco Healthy Child Care Program.

The Greenopia school in Abu Dhabi incorporates the well-known Reggio Emilia methodology and an Arabic-English program. At Greenopia, teachers act as mentors and guides, inspiring young students to learn through observation, questioning and listening to determine their interests. This results in students being taught subjects that excite them while their teachers aid them.

Parents are encouraged to participate fully in their child's early education and have the flexibility to choose a childcare schedule that suits their needs for the term.

Children aged 18 months to four years can join Greenopia Eco Nursery, Abu Dhabi. They are divided into nursery and preschool sections. All classes are categorised into three nursery classes and three preschool classes with names inspired by nature:

• Autumn Leaves
• Sky Clouds
• Spring Flowers
• Summer Sun
• Earth Angels

Greenopia Abu Dhabi Nursery follows the Reggio-inspired curriculum. It is flexible and moulded according to children’s ideas, observations and thoughts. The curriculum aims to promote a lifelong passion for learning in young individuals. 

The curriculum at Greenopia is implemented to build relationships for creating connections between the environment and ideas. The courses and syllabus comprise the following:

• Literacy
• Numeracy
• Nursery Rhymes
• Art and Craft
• Gross Motor Skills

Greenopia students understand different concepts and tools such as drama, drawing, painting, music and sculpting.

Parents can enrol their children in this nursery by filling out the registration form. A nursery representative will get back to them within five working days for admission to Greenopia Nursery. When the seat is available, the nursery contacts and informs parents, after which they will be asked to submit the following documents:

• Filled registration form
• A medical questionnaire and consent form
• Five recent passport-size photographs of the child
• Two copies of the child’s passport with a valid visa
• Two copies of parents’ passports with valued visas
• Two copies of the child’s birth certificate
• One copy of the child’s immunisation card

It is best to schedule an orientation tour by calling the nursery office between 08:00 am to 04:00 pm. Parents should note that admission will be guaranteed to only those who submit the below-mentioned fees:

At Greenopia, children get the opportunity to show their understanding and express their ideas and thoughts. They can do so by participating in extracurricular activities in the Reggio environment. Students can work on their knowledge through these activities:

• Drawing and painting
• Drama
• Music
• Yoga
• Sculpting and Modelling
• Sensation

Students can also participate in the summer, winter and spring camps during their term breaks.

Greenopia Nursery Al Rowda offers child-care services. The nursery is open from Sunday to Thursday from 07:30 am to 02:00 pm. Students can join an optional afternoon programme for extended hour care. It is offered in three shifts:

• 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm
• 03:00 pm to 04:00 pm
• 04:00 pm to 05:00 pm

At the time of registration, parents must choose a child-care schedule that will remain the same throughout the term, or it can be changed with a written notice to the Manager and is subject to availability.

This nursery prioritises eco-friendliness and offers a high-quality early childhood development experience in an environmentally conscious setting. 

Known as Greenopia, it boasts several noteworthy features, including participation in the CEHN Eco Healthy child care program, a shoe-free policy, and the use of NO-VOC household paints for its walls. Additionally, all toys in the nursery are PVC-free, and cleaning is done with unscented, non-toxic, and biodegradable products. 

Art supplies are made in-house using ingredients approved by the Art and Creative Materials Institute, and playground equipment and furniture are sourced from PEFC Certified suppliers who commit to planting a new tree for each cut-down. 

All equipment is from Finland, which prioritises using natural materials and fibres over plastic. 

The Greenopia Eco Preschool in Abu Dhabi also has a recycling hub to ensure that all paper, glass, aluminium, cardboard and plastic materials are properly recycled.

As a parent, your involvement in your child's education journey is highly encouraged as it benefits both you and your child. To keep you informed of your child's progress and development, Greenopia hosts parent-teacher meetings.
