GEMS Westminster School Ras Al Khaimah (WSR) was established in 2013 in Seih Al Uraibi, Ras Al Khaimah. A part of the globally renowned GEMS Education Group, GEMS WSR delivers the internationally recognised National Curriculum for England.

WSR conducts classes in a co-educational setup from Pre-KG to Grade 12. GEMS Westminster School RAK Curriculum

GEMS Westminster School Ras Al Khaimah follows the National Curriculum for England (NCE). The curriculum prepares students to take the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A-Level Examinations conducted by the Universities of Cambridge and London (UK).

Admission and Fees

How to Apply to GEMS Westminster School RAK?

Being a highly sought-after school, WSR receives many applications. The school attempts to accommodate students depending on the availability of seats in each grade level. Prospective parents are advised to apply as soon as possible as the school operates on a first-come-first-served basis.

The admissions process to enrol your child at GEMS WSR are as follows:

  • WSR organises school tours every day at 10:00 am. Parents who wish to visit the campus before enrolling their child at the school can participate in the tour. No prior booking is required.
  • Fill out and submit the Online Student Enquiry and Registration form to initiate registration. Parents will then receive an Enquiry Number, which must be printed.
  • Upon registration, submit the following documents:
    • 1 copy of the child’s passport with the UAE residence visa.
    • 1 copy of the child’s and parents’ Emirates ID cards
    • Original Emirates ID cards of the child and parents
    • 1 copy of Family Book/Khalasat Alqaid (for UAE Nationals only)
    • 2 copies of the child’s Vaccination Record
    • 3 recent passport-size photographs of the child
    • Student SIS number from the previous school (applicable to all schools in UAE excluding Abu Dhabi Educational Council and KHDA Dubai)
    • 2 copies of the school report from the previous school
    • Original Transfer Certificate (duly attested before the start of school)
  • The school processes the application only upon submission of the required documents and payment of AED 500 registration fees. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable but will be adjusted with the tuition fee if the student enrols with the school.
  • Parents are required to share details of any special educational/medical needs if applicable.
  • The admission conducts age-related screening and assessments to determine the applicant's eligibility.
  • Upon completing the screening and assessment process, the school may either offer the student a seat, place them on a waiting list or deny enrolment based on the student’s performance.

School Transportation at GEMS WSR

GEMS Westminster RAK has outsourced its transportation services to Bright Bus Transport (BBT), a subsidiary of STS LLC. The transportation service covers areas within Ras Al Khaimah, from Mina Al Arab to Al Jazeera Al Hamra.

The fleet of buses adheres to the safety and health standards mandated by the RAK Transport Authority. In addition, the buses are also equipped with Video Surveillance Systems, Global Positioning Systems and Scanners.

After-school Care at GEMS Westminster School RAK
