  • As per the instruction of the Department of Health, the school administers a medical examination in Year 1, 5 and 9 and all new students. This is a very basic and non-invasive procedure conducted by the school doctor. After the examination, the results are shared with parents. Parents have the authority to withdraw their children from this medical examination, but the school suggests otherwise.
  • According to the Department of Health, the Academy is liable to have children’s vaccinations up-to-date before the start of an academic year. Subsequently, parents must provide a copy of their child’s vaccination report to the school clinic. The report is then checked against the UAE’s immunisation schedule and any outstanding vaccines are then administered.
  • The Academy follows a ‘no hat, no play’ policy. They do not allow students without hats to play outdoors.
  • For school outings and on P.E days, children are encouraged to apply a 30+ sunscreen lotion.
