The primary school will follow PYP (Primary Years Programme) as the school is a candidate for PYP. The IB PYP is designed for students aged 5 to 10 years and essential components include improving knowledge, skills, attitudes and action. All these are used for designing the Fairgreen International School curriculum. Ongoing assessment is integral from KG1 to Grade 5.
Students will study the Middle Years Programme (MYP) once the school gets authorised as an IB World School. As per IB MYP guidelines, learning focuses on the following areas:
Fairgreen MYP provides IB-validated grades based on a combination of examinations and course work. The school plans to register primary students for external assessments certified by the IBO.
As per the new COVID-19 protocols issued by KHDA, schools are discontinuing the distance learning programme from October 3, 2021. Those wishing to continue their education via distance learning have to show a relevant health certificate issued by Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Schools may revert back to distance learning if COVID-19 cases are detected in a class or a group in a class.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) works closely with the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) to inspect private schools operating in the emirate.
The school is not yet inspected by the KHDA. It is due for inspection in the academic year 2021-2022.
Fairgreen International School’s academic calendar is split into winter, springs and summer term. A breakdown of the calendar is presented below.
Interested candidates can fill the online application form to kick-start the Fairgreen International School admission process. The applicant should have scanned copies of the mandatory documents required to be submitted along with the application form. The scanned documents can be in JPEG, PDF and PNG file formats.
Once the application form is submitted, it is reviewed based on previous performances, assessment test results and personal interviews.
For admissions in the Early Years section, applicants have to appear in an interview arranged via a prior appointment. For Grade 1 to Grade 9, applicants can submit CAT4 test results to replace the assessment test at the school.

If Emirates IDs are not available at the time of admission, they can be submitted later but before the start of the academic year.
Students from schools based outside Dubai are requested to submit their leaving certificate.
Students who are transferring from other countries are also requested to submit their original transfer certificate.
Parents need to pay AED 500 as the application and assessment fee before the evaluation test takes place.

The school provides lunch facilities to students in collaboration with SwissCanonica. Students from Pre-K to Grade 8 can buy and eat their packed lunch in the school cafeteria. A single meal costs AED 20 inclusive of VAT.

There is a completely functional clinic in the school to handle medical emergencies during school hours. A full-time nurse provides medical assistance to students whenever needed.
