Ambassador Kindergarten Curriculum

Distinctive instructional structures are used by Ambassador Kindergarten for allowing young children to learn at their own speed.

The management at Ambassador Kindergarten uses a range of practices approved by leading early childhood education experts. Their methods are used for cultivating the key skills related to L.S.R.W. (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) skills in young children.

The core curriculum at the school focuses on seven areas, which are as follows:

Language Development and Communication

The school places a strong emphasis on developing communication skills in students. Teachers pay close attention to speaking skills including dialect and tone.

Physical Development

Ambassador Kindergarten provides students with opportunities to remain interactive. Students are also given the chance to improve their movement, and coordination. Students at Ambassador KG are encouraged to understand the importance of physical activity and nutrition.

Social, Personal and Emotional Development

The program encourages students to develop a positive attitude and build empathy by exposing them to social interactions.

Expressive Design and Arts

This program empowers kids to investigate and play with a broad scope of media and materials. This is done through an assortment of exercises in craftsmanship, music, development-move, pretend play and innovation.

Smart Learning

Ambassador Kindergarten focuses on a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based environment of learning. This system encourages children to challenge themselves and learn innovative concepts. STEM includes problem-solving, questioning, and reasoning.

Early STEM skills can help in predicting a student’s academic performance later in life. Moreover, Math skills developed at a young age can help children in becoming highly confident with reading and Math.

Linguistic Skills (Arabic and French)

The management at Ambassador Kindergarten believes that learning foreign languages is an activity that enhances the cognitive ability of an individual. Students of all ages learn French and Arabic from teachers who are native speakers. Children are taught other languages with games, colouring aids, songs, and picture cards.

Mode of Communication between Teachers and Parents

A Parent Support Group (PSG) has been formed at the school to facilitate communication between parents and the school management. It includes one representative from every class, apart from a parent governor from every grade. The school management and parent representatives meet twice a month, where they put forward their views on different programs and come up with solutions for any challenges.

The main contribution of PSG is to bridge the gap of understanding between the parent community and the school. It also ensures that relevant data is shared with other parents and encourages active parent participation for new initiatives, and creating an alliance between homes and schools.

Parents are connected with school 24×7 by means of the AKG Parent Login (Orison ERP portal). This system allows two-way communication between the school management and parents. It also enables the parents to receive and send emails from the class teacher, principal, and other management personnel.

Teachers can also inform the parents of the students through Whatsapp groups. These Whatsapp groups include parents of all the students in a specific year.
