How to Apply to Al Wahda Private School?

Al Wahda Private School Sharjah’s admission process is easy and welcomes students from all backgrounds. The school accepts application round the year. The following steps summarize the school's admission procedure:

  • Complete the student enquiry form. You can either complete this online or during a walk-in visit to the school
  • Book yourself a school tour and see the campus and facilities.
  • The school will contact you if a vacancy is available and schedule the next steps. 
  • Priority is given to siblings of existing students.
  • The school provides a waiting list for students in the event that no seats are available for the current academic year.

To start the registration, you must enrol your child online and provide the following documents:

  • 3 Recent coloured passport size photographs
  • Copy of the birth certificate
  • Copy of the vaccination card
  • Copy of the student's passport with a valid residence visa for non-UAE citizens
  • Copy of the Family Book (for the UAE Citizen) Or copy of mother’s Family Book Log (Emirati Mothers)
  • Copy of student’s original Emirates ID
  • 1 copy each of both parents’ original Emirates IDs
  • Student’s Medical File from the previous school
  • The student’s last report card + transfer certificate

 

There are specific requirements relating to school transfers that are stated below:

  • Students transferring from the same emirate (Sharjah):
    • Grade 2 to 9 students should submit their transfer certificate attested by the last school attended. 
    • Grade 10 to 12 students should submit transfer certificate from the last school attended + last two report cards attested by SPEA

      

  • For students transferring from other Emirates in the UAE:
    • Grade 2 to 9 students should submit their transfer certificate attested by the last school attended and the education zone of the emirate. 
    • Grade 10 to 12 students should submit their attested transfer certificate from the last school attended and the education zone of the emirate +the last two report cards.

     

  • Students transferring from a different curriculum:
    • Grade 9 to 12 students should submit the final report card of the last 2 years. 
    • Grades 10 to 12 students who have not pursued Ministerial and Governmental curricula) are required to obtain and submit proof of equivalency.

     

  • Students transferring from a school outside the UAE:
    • Grade 10 to 12 students are to submit the last two report cards and transfer certificate attested by the Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE consulate where the school was located.  
    • Grade 10 to 12 students are to obtain and submit proof of equivalency.  
    • Grade 1 to 8 students who have undertaken the CAT4 test in their previous school should submit the assessment report.
