Public Transportation Near Victoria

The area is located at a distance from central Dubai. But it enjoys convenient access to two roads that connect it to the main centres of the city – Al Qudra Road (D63) and Dubai – Al Ain Road (E66). SUPERMARKETS IN VICTORIA

Victoria is located within a newly built community hence, there are not many options within walking distance. One has to drive a car to reach the nearest supermarkets. Akoya Retail Centre is a community centre, located within a 7-minute driving distance. It boasts a big outlet of the renowned Carrefour to facilitate the residents. Other supermarkets near Victoria include Geant Express, ZOOM, Spinneys and Choithrams. These are some popular supermarkets near DAMAC Hills 2 (Akoya Oxygen).

MOSQUES IN VICTORIA

Built by the developers, DAMAC Properties, DAMAC Hills 2 Masjid is currently the only community mosque in proximity. It takes 7-minutes to reach there via car. Residents can also go to the mosques in neighbouring areas to offer congregational prayers such as Remraam Mosque, Al Shaqour Masjid in Arabian Ranches 2 and Mosque Sustainable City.

OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP NEAR VICTORIA

Christian residents can go to the popular Jebel Ali church complex at a drive of about half an hour and visit some best churches in Dubai including St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church and Dubai Mar Thoma Parish Church.

CLINICS AND HOSPITALS NEAR VICTORIA

At present, Saudi German Clinics DAMAC Hills 2 is the only healthcare facility in the master community, DAMAC Hills 2. Some popular clinics and hospitals near Victoria include:

  • Emirates Hospital Day Surgery & Medical Center

A 27-minute journey will be needed to go to Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, one of the hospitals near Victoria. The Emirates Hospital Day Surgery & Medical Center, which is 25-minutes away and is part of the Motor City neighbourhood, is a more well-known hospital close by.

The only pharmacy in the area is Health First Pharmacy 30, which can be reached after a 7-minute drive. Aster Pharmacy and LIFE Pharmacy, which can be reached in 25-minutes or less, are two additional pharmacies near Victoria that require a short drive to get to. Both pharmacies have the required medications, regardless of whether a person needs a prescription medication or an over-the-counter remedy.

Alvorada Park is one of the parks near Victoria and is a 23-minute drive away. This park features walking, biking, and running paths, as well as a tennis court that is perfect for tennis enthusiasts. Gatton Park is another option reached after a 26-minute drive. On a nice day, Gatton, which is bordered by trees, is the perfect location for family gatherings or modest picnics. Finally, Mirador Park, which is 28-minutes away and has a variety of outdoor play areas, is ideal for families with young children.
