Hamriyah Free Zone is rich in industries along with several offices, shops and warehouses. The types of industries you will find in the area include food businesses, oil and gas companies, building materials, steel, textile, chemicals and several more. There is a special area “food park” dedicated to only food businesses and offers a comprehensive range of services beneficial for the particular business type; these services include food-testing labs and a certification house for Halal Food.

Sharjah Municipality – Public Health Clinic – Al Hamriya branch and Dooa Clinic are the two medical centres located within the community boundaries. For more options, residents can access the medical facilities in the neighbouring communities including AL Bustan Medical Center, Noor Al Shifa Medical Center and New Ibin Sina Medical Center. All of these are accessible in a nearly 15-minute drive. As far as hospitals are concerned, one can go to Al Hamriyah Health Center, a government hospital located only 10-minutes from the area.

Though the area is part of Sharjah, one of the best things is its location. Hamriyah Free Zone is right in the centre of all the emirates, offering easy accessibility to Ajman, UAQ and Dubai. The main Al Ittihad Street (E11) passes through the community and makes commuting no hassle for residents and workers. The area’s immediate neighbours include Al Jurf Industrial Area, Sharjah Waterfront City and Al Zahiya community.

Ajman China Mall is the closest mall to Hamriyah Free Zone, available within a 10-minute drive. Besides several clothing stores, you will find furniture stores, hardware outlets, and many international brands at wholesale rates. Another popular mall, City Centre Ajman, is 13-minutes away from the area. Both these malls are considered the top malls in Ajman.

When it comes to dining, Al Hamriyah Free Zone boasts several dining places and restaurants that offer all dine-in, takeout and delivery options including Choice Restaurant, Wadana Group FZE Restaurant, Al Falah Restaurant & Catering Services.
