Dubai Creek Harbour Master Plan

Creek Island

The Island District is home to several developed and off-plan projects, while approximately 700,000 sq. m. is dedicated to lush parks and open green spaces. Creek Beach District is a vibrant waterfront neighbourhood strategically located between the mainland and the Island District. It is connected by three well-planned bridges, enabling access to the heart of the community. This district offers a diverse mix of residential properties ranging from stylish apartments to family-friendly homes, all within walking distance of a pristine man-made beach. Mainland

Mainland is further divided into seven sub-districts: Business District, North Park, Central Park, South Park, Retail District, Sanctuary District and Urban District. Each one has unique features, such as the Sanctuary District is home to 450 species of wildlife and flamingos, while the Business District is the central commercial hub spanning 7.3 million sq. m. The three districts, North, Central and South Park feature plenty of green spaces and recreational facilities. 

Retail District will be home to the upcoming Dubai Square, poised to become the second-largest shopping and entertainment destination within Dubai Creek Harbour.

Dubai Creek Tower, referred to as the “female” counterpart to the iconic Burj Khalifa, will be located in the Urban District of Dubai Creek Harbour. The futuristic mall will allow electric vehicles to drive through it.

The World’s Highest Blue Metro Station in Dubai Creek Harbour

A key highlight of the upcoming Dubai Metro Blue Line is the Emaar Properties Station in Dubai Creek Harbour, which will be the highest metro station in the world at 74 m tall. The station will be designed by the American architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), known for projects such as the Burj Khalifa and the Sears Tower.

Spanning over 11,000 sq. m., it will be connected to the Creek station on the Green Line by a 1,300 m viaduct across the water, reducing travel time. Passengers on the Blue Line will be able to see the Burj Khalifa, buildings along Sheikh Zayed Road and Dubai Creek during the journey. Once the station becomes operational in 2029, Emaar will have exclusive naming rights for the first 10 years. The RTA plans to release more details on naming rights for the rest of the Blue Line in the coming phases.
