Al Manaseer is part of the Al Rowdah district and lies between the popular residential areas of Al Karamah and Al Bateen. It is a peaceful, family-friendly area. Dotted a few blocks away from Al Bateen, Al Manaseeris set between Hazza Bin Zayed Street and Delma Street. It is a small area that lies towards the north of the Al Rowdah district.
Al Manaseer offers every facility that one expects from a well-developed residential community. There are schools and hospitals near the area for added convenience. Many malls, eateries and bars can be easily accessed near the area, in the neighbouring districts.

There are a few supermarkets in Al Manaseer. The nearest one is Al Jusrain Supermarket, it is only at a distance of 5 minutes. Fatima Supermarket which has several branches in the capital city and Parco Supermarket are only 7 minutes away from the area.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN AL MANASEER
Christian believers can find many churches in the neighbouring area of Al Mushrif. Within a 10-minute drive, they can reach an array of churches, such as Abu Dhabi Apostolic Tamil Church, St. George’s Orthodox Cathedral, Kings Church, New Vision Tamil Church and Philadelphia Church of God.
The first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi is currently under construction. Meanwhile, residents will have to travel to the Hindu temples in the Bur Dubai area in Dubai. However, there is a Sikh gurudwara in Al Musaffah which is 22 minutes away from Al Manaseer.

There are numerous mosques in Al Manseer such as Abdullah Salem Mosque, Fatima Usman Zayed Mosque, Omeir Bin Yousuf Mosque, Khalid Ibn Al Walid Mosque, Mosque of Haji Abdullah Al Khoori and Al Rowdah Central Mosque.

In terms of educational options, Al Manaseer is an ideal location for those with school going children. There are plenty of nurseries and schools in Al Manaseer.
Nurseries in the area include Bright Kids Nursery, Apple Bee Nursery, Ladybird Nursery and Humpty Dumpty Nursery.
Emirates National School which has various campuses throughout the UAE is centrally located in the area and it follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) system. Others schools in Al Manaseer include Al Bateen Academy, Mubarak Bin Mohamed School and Hamdan Bin Zayed School.
Higher education options such as European International College, University of Strathclyde Business School Abu Dhabi and Khalifa University can be reached in under 15 minutes.

MALLS NEAR AL MANASEER
There are a few well-known malls near Al Manaseer. Al Bateen Mall is on the west while Al Wahda Mall is towards the eastern side of Al Manaseer. Both malls are at a 7-minute drive. Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre is 12 minutes away. It has IKEA and a popular Japanese store that sells accessories, gadgets and stationery.
RESTAURANTS NEAR AL MANASEER
There is a shortage of restaurants in the vicinity but there are two restaurants across the Hazza Bin Zayed Street namely, Abu Faisal Restaurant and Only Potatoes.
Café Arabia is 7 minutes away opposite to Al Mushrif Park and it is counted among one of the most stylish cafes of Abu Dhabi. Most vegetarians head to Salam Bombay Restaurant as it serves authentic Indian vegetarian cuisines. Peppermill and Red Lobster Restaurants in Al Wahda are some of the restaurants near Al Manaseer. They are not more than 7 minutes away.
People who like to explore the nightlife of the capital city can visit Al Wahda to find Sky Lounge 31, Porters English Pub and C. Mondo Bar.
BEACHES NEAR AL MANASEER
All the beaches are towards the North of Al Manaseer. Equally popular among expats, tourists and locals, Corniche Beach is at a 7-minute drive. It holds a well-deserving spot in the list of best beaches of Abu Dhabi. This beach also has a Blue Flag status. Al Sahil Beach which welcomes singletons and groups is less than 10 minutes away from Al Manaseer.
The Bayshore Beach Club is at the Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and it takes a 12-minute drive to reach there. It features an infinity pool, a swim-up bar, large Jacuzzi and a children’s pool. The Bayshore is not a public beach and charges AED 50 for a day pass except on weekends and national holidays where you have to pay AED 100.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND NOTABLE LANDMARKS
Al Wahda Mall is a notable landmark of the city which is near Al Manaseer. It has also won “Best Mall of Abu Dhabi” award for four consecutive years. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which is the largest mosque of the country is just a 5-minute drive away. This mosque welcomes thousands of tourists every year.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, FITNESS AND BEAUTY
The best park where residents of Al Manaseer can head to is Umm Al Emarat Park which is 4 kilometres away. It opened back in 1982 and is still one of the largest urban parks in the capital city. After its complete renovation which took 24 months, the park is now claimed to honour the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This large park has a botanic garden, a shade house, a wisdom garden, an animal barn and an amphitheatre.

People who like to work out in the gym can go to RAK Gym which is 6 minutes away. Across the Hazza Bin Zayed Street, Al Zaab Gym is dotted some 2 kilometres away. Smart Gym and Al Rowdah Gym are both at a 7-minute drive. Residents of Al Manaseer can also head out to Gold’s Gym inside Al Wahda Mall. This gym is on the third floor of the mall and it covers 35,000 sq. ft. of an area. It is somewhat expensive, but it offers the latest equipment and utilises cloud technology to help people track their workout progress.
Two beauty salon for the ladies are in the vicinity namely, Gloss & Glitter Ladies Beauty Salon and Victorian Rose Beauty & Spa Centre. Men have to travel for 4 minutes to reach the Vidal Centre for Men or Man Hair and Beauty Salon which are near Al Bateen.

Al Manaseer is a small area with multiple residential options. The only problem is that residents have to visit neighbouring areas to access the malls, supermarkets, hospitals and other facilities.
