When I founded Al Mira Real Estate in 2021, we weren’t trying to build the biggest agency in Abu Dhabi. I wanted to build one that clients could trust.
At the time, Abu Dhabi was entering a new chapter. The city was attracting greater international investment, new developments were reshaping the skyline and confidence in the market was steadily growing. I saw an opportunity, not just to participate in that growth, but to create an agency that would help shape it through expertise, transparency and genuine client service.
Looking back just a few years later, it’s remarkable how much the market has evolved. Buyer behaviour has changed, technology has transformed the way we work and competition has become stronger than ever. Yet one thing hasn’t changed: agencies that continue to adapt will always outperform those that stand still.
The Market Has Matured And So Have Its Buyers
One of the biggest changes I’ve witnessed is the evolution of Abu Dhabi itself. What was once a market driven largely by local demand has become a genuine global investment destination.
Today’s buyers arrive having already researched communities, compared investment opportunities and analysed market trends. They’re more informed, more selective and have higher expectations than ever before. At the same time, stronger regulations and the exceptional quality of new developments have made Abu Dhabi an even more compelling place to invest.
For agencies, this means simply having listings is no longer enough.
Clients expect advisers, not salespeople. They want professionals who understand the market beyond the numbers, can explain why one opportunity is stronger than another and are prepared to offer honest advice, even when it’s not the easiest conversation to have.

Of course, we’re proud of the recognition from Agency of the Year honours to our individual agent and listings awards. Those achievements mean a great deal to our team because they acknowledge the hard work that’s gone into building the business.
But awards have never been our objective.
They’re the outcome of consistently doing the right things every single day.
Every quality listing, every honest client conversation, every follow-up call and every successful transaction contributes to something much bigger than an individual sale. Over time, those small decisions become your reputation.
Growth Doesn’t Stop Once You’ve Found Success
Although we’ve achieved a great deal in a relatively short period, I believe we’re only getting started.
Today, we’re expanding our presence across Abu Dhabi with multiple offices, preparing to launch a state-of-the-art immersive showroom and continuing to grow our newly established Dubai office. Alongside that growth, we’re investing heavily in our people, enhancing the client experience and strengthening our relationships with some of the UAE’s leading developers.
Our recent rebrand reflects that evolution. It’s not simply a new identity it’s a representation of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed next.
My Advice to Agencies Looking to Scale
If there’s one lesson I’ve learned throughout this journey, it’s that sustainable growth doesn’t happen by accident.
Know your market before you expand into another one.
Invest in your people before you invest in bigger marketing budgets.
Protect your reputation because clients remember how you made them feel long after a transaction is complete.
And choose your technology partners carefully. The right platforms don’t simply generate leads, they help your entire business become stronger, more efficient and more trusted.
From the day we opened our doors in 2021 until today, we’ve never relied on shortcuts. We’ve focused on showing up for every client, every transaction and every opportunity with the same commitment to excellence.
