Al Zuhour Private School in Sharjah was established in 1995. Following the American curriculum, it offers classes from Pre-KG to Grade 12 in a co-educational setup. The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management team in Sharjah, in coordination with Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), has allowed all private schools in the emirate to resume 100% in-class learning. Students of Grades 10 to 12 must attest their transfer certificate and last two years of academic record by KHDA.
Those coming from other emirates in the UAE have slightly different requirements. Students of Grades 2 to 9 should get their transfer certificates attested by their school and educational body. While students in Grade 10 and above need to submit a transfer certificate and last two years of academic records attested by the education body of that emirate.
Meanwhile, international students must submit their transfer certificates and last two years of academic record attested by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE consulate where the last school was located. Students in Grades 10 to 12 have to submit proof of equivalency and students in Grades 1 to 8 need to pass the CAT4 test.
Students coming from different curricula and did not study any Ministerial or governmental curriculum have to submit a certificate of equivalency.

Students are encouraged to have fresh juices, milk, sandwiches, fruit and other healthy foods for lunch. Use of gum, potato chips, sweets and soda is strictly prohibited. Students are not allowed to share food with others.
Kindergarten students get a 25-minute snack break, twice a day. Parents should pack healthy snacks such as yoghurt, fruits, sandwiches from home.
The school offers transport services to students. Bus administrators ensure the safety of children during the commute. They report misbehaviour and misconduct to the school officials, and students who do not follow the rules can face suspension.
Students should reach their designated pick up point five minutes before the scheduled time as buses will not wait. Consuming food on the bus is not allowed.
