Al Seef Tower is of unrivalled architectural and structural design and usually a project of this nature generally takes at least two and a half years but the hallmark of this tower is that it was built in record time-21 months (completed April 2005). Another point of interest is its design which incorporates a squared shape on the lower floors, a wider extended shape (due to balconies) at mid-level, a circular shape at the higher level, and a pyramid crown at top. It is definitely an eclectic design which may not work for everyone.
With different sized apartments on different floors, Al Seef Tower have more complex architectural and structural aspects involved than if you are building a tower with the same sized apartments throughout. We had to include a cantilever above the two bedroom apartments and a larger cantilever on the 36th floor above the three bedroom apartments.
