As the city grows and new roads are built by the government to improve connectivity, the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai, introduces new bus routes based on increased demand. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NEW RTA BUS ROUTES IN DUBAI
Based on the finding of exhaustive and extensive research, the Road and Transport Authority has announced five new public bus routes launch in Dubai and altered the routes of previous buses. RTA new bus routes in Dubai have been operational since 29th of August 2025.
Route 31
Route 31 bus will run between Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai Outsource City after the Dubai bus network expansion by the RTA.
This will cater to increased demand for public transport in this area, with buses running at 20-minute intervals during peak hours.

Routes 62A and 62B
Bus Route 62 has been split to offer a fast and cheap transport option to travellers. RTA has demarked the area from Al Qusais Industrial Area to Al Qusais Metro Station for Route 62A.
Whereas, Route 62B will operate from Al Qusais Metro Station and Ras Al Khor – Samari Residences.
As per the scheduled announced for RTA new bus routes in Dubai, during peak hours, these buses will run every 30-minutes.
Route F26A
This new RTA bus route would be of service to the residents and workers of Al Quoz Industrial Area. During peak hours, passengers will be able to board a bus every 30-minutes.
Route X91
This new bus route will run between the same stations as Route 91, from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Jebel Ali Bus Station. But it will be an express route so it wouldn’t stop at Business Bay Metro Station and hence will complete the journey faster thanks to the Dubai bus network expansion by the RTA.
RTA Bus Route Modifications
Beside new RTA bus routes in Dubai, Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has also changed the routes of some existing buses.
- Route 7: Previously a circular service but now it has become a two-directional route, running from Al Quoz Bus Station to Al Satwa Bus Station.
- Route 91: Now Route 91 will run from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Business Bay Metro Station (northbound), shortening the journey.
- Route F62: Another circular service has been converted into a two-directional route, operating between Emirates Metro Station and Nad Al Hamar.
- Route 77: Similarly, Route 77 will also change from a circular route to a two-directional route, running between Baniyas Square Metro Station and Al Garhoud.
- Route X25: Another shorting of the route from Al Karama Bus Station to Dubai Silicon Oasis will mean faster travel for passengers.
- Route 50: While the bus will continue to run between International City Bus Station and Business Bay Bus Station, it will also stop at Dubai Outsource City, catering to an additional locality.
- Route 21A: Another shortening of the route from Al Quoz Bus Station and Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to allow faster journey.
- Route 21B: This route has been restricted from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Quoz Bus Station to shorten the travel time.
- Route J01: It has been rerouted to operate within just Jumeirah Village Circle.
