The RTA just rolled out its latest initiative in support of Expo 2020. The announcement comes soon after the Expo 2020 Dubai Countdown celebrations, to add to the growing fervour across the country for the highly anticipated event. Motorists in Dubai can now get an Expo 2020 logo number plate for their car. The launch of this initiative was announced on February 2, 2020.
CEO of the Licensing Agency at the RTA, Abdullah Yousuf Al Ali said,
“The launch of this initiative aims to support Dubai’s hosting of Expo 2020, and motorists will now be able to have their vehicle plates replaced with the EXPO 2020 logo.”
WHY GET DUBAI EXPO 2020 LOGO NUMBER PLATE?
The Expo 2020 extravaganza is undoubtedly the biggest and most-awaited event in Dubai this year. This premier tourist, business and promotional event is expected to attract around 25 million people to the country. It is the biggest exhibition event to be held across the globe – and to host it is a matter of great prestige and honour.
The Expo 2020 logo number plate initiative will encourage motorists to participate in the ongoing Expo 2020 fervour and be a part of history in the making. The vehicle plates with Expo 2020 logo symbolise pride, celebration and promotion of the event.

A similar initiative was launched earlier in September 2019, where the RTA put up 20 exclusive vehicle plates with the Expo 2020 logo up for auction – all in support of Expo 2020 that is set to stun the world with its grandeur and innovation in October this year.
While the supporting events, initiatives and celebrations gain momentum, there has been an increase in the demand for properties in residential areas near the Expo 2020 site. These areas have attracted both, investors and tenants to the prospects of lucrative returns and well-connected living respectively.
There are also a number of off-plan projects near Expo 2020 Dubai that offer excellent investment opportunities for local and foreign investors. These projects include both apartment complexes and villa communities to cater to a wider investor base.
