ABOUT AL FAHID
Al Fahid, also known as Jazeerat Fahid, is an island located between Yas Island and Jubail Island at the northern end of Abu Dhabi. The major thoroughfare Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road (E12), cuts through the waterfront residential community and connects it with key areas of the emirate. There are several residential and commercial projects in the pipeline; once completed, Al Fahid will transform into a sustainable mixed-use community offering a luxurious lifestyle.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
Al Fahid is an upcoming mixed-use community of the coastal emirate that will offer various luxurious properties and recreational facilities. The community will consist of five phases, from which Phase 1 will spread over an area of 21 million sq. m. Phase 1, called Al Marsa Villas, is further divided into two stages. The first stage includes the construction of 301 villas, while 652 apartments and 15 townhouses will be developed in the second stage.
Apart from residential properties, the community will be home to a marina with 85 berths and a range of F&B retail outlets. Al Fahid Property Development is the lead developer of the project who has awarded the project programme management contract to Faithful+Gould. While the Abu Dhabi-based contractor, Bright Accord General Contracting, has been awarded the nine-month reclamation package. The construction on the site already begins and handovers of Phase 1 are expected in Q3 2023.
PROPERTIES IN AL FAHID ISLAND
Properties in Al Fahid include villas, townhouses and apartments. Once completed, the community will feature 4 to 7-bedroom villas offering spectacular views of the water along with an option to include a side yacht dock. The coverage area of these beachfront Al Fahid villas will range between 427 sq. m. to 1,579 sq. m. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN AL FAHID
Since the community is under development, the mode of public transportation in Al Fahid Island Development is limited. One can avail bus service from neighbouring areas after driving for around 15 to 20-minutes.
For those with private conveyance, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road provides ease for the commute. It connects the island with mainland areas such as Al Reef and Al Shahama. If you are driving towards the east using E12, you’ll be connected with Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E10) and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road (E11) in a 12 to 15-minute drive.

SUPERMARKETS NEAR AL FAHID
Residents can buy grocery, daily usage products and other household items from supermarkets near Al Fahid. These include Spinneys, Waitrose and Baqala Zamzam. All these grocery stores near the community are accessible in an 8 to 12-minute drive. Once the residential community is completed, residents will have plenty of options within the community.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES NEAR AL FAHID

Khawarizmi International College in the Al Bahya area offers bachelors and associate programs in Health Management, Mass Communication and Business Administration. It will take a 12-minute drive to reach the college near Al Fahid. Other universities nearby are New York University Abu Dhabi and the Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.

Burjeel Medical Centre in Yas Mall is the nearest medical facility for residents of the neighbourhood. The clinic offers premium services for dentistry, dermatology and cosmetology, physiotherapy and family medicine. There is also radiology and diagnostic imaging centre in the clinic. Other hospitals near Al Fahid, United Arab Emirates, are NMC Royal Hospital and Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital.

Al Fahid Island is situated close to some of the popular residential areas and islands of the emirate. Towards the east lies the luxury centre of Abu Dhabi, Yas Island, while the home to mangrove forests, Jubail Island, is situated to the western side. Yas Mall is a popular shopping destination and one of the best malls in Abu Dhabi. The shopping mall is located a short drive of 10-minutes from the community. Other shopping malls near Al Fahid are Al Raha Mall and Deerfields Mall.
