Dubai International Airport (DXB) is roughly 27 minutes' drive and the new Al Maktoum International Airport is roughly 30 minutes' drive. All durations are calculated by Google Maps and assume the fastest route in typical traffic conditions.
Facilities include a roof-top swimming pool, fully equipped glass gymnasium, a roof-top jogging track, a sauna, a steam room, a social event deck, secure underground parking and 24-hour security.
Launched in 2007 and originally scheduled for completion in 2009 the building was put on hold during the financial crisis. When construction resumed, the building was expected to complete during 2016.
