To help property seekers instantly understand the authenticity of listings and enjoy a much more seamless search experience, we launched our exclusive property authentication solution a few months before the pandemic hit the world. Following this, in a survey we conducted in late 2020, more than 33% of property seekers in the UAE reported<strong> that the presence of fake listings<\/strong> has been the biggest challenge when it comes to online property search, confirming that authenticity remained a priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/mybayut\/trucheck-bayut-uae\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TruCheck\u2122<\/a> was launched, early reports showed that listings validated with this advanced solution <strong>received up to 5 times more leads and 20 times more impressions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, a year into the launch of the feature, we decided to compile real-time data to understand the significance of this property validation tool in the overall property search experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study was conducted between two of Dubai\u2019s real estate agencies, Agency A and Agency B respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agency A had twice the number of property listings as Agency B, but only a few of these were validated with a TruCheck<sup>TM<\/sup> badge. We found that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Agency B had 10,845 leads while Agency A had a significantly lower 3,584 leads<\/li><li>Agency B had 16,532,460 impressions while Agency A had 2,959,074 impressions.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img width=\"1024\" height=\"876\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/agentportal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PR-TruCheck-02-1024x876.jpg\" alt=\"difference in leads with TruCheckTM\" class=\"wp-image-6069\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/agentportal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PR-TruCheck-02-1024x876.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/agentportal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PR-TruCheck-02-300x257.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/agentportal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PR-TruCheck-02-768x657.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/agentportal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PR-TruCheck-02-467x400.jpg 467w, https:\/\/www.bayut.com\/agentportal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/PR-TruCheck-02.jpg 1441w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><em>There is a vast difference in the number of leads and impressions in property listings that have been validated with TruCheck<sup>TM<\/sup>!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words,<strong> <\/strong>Agency B had<strong> 202% more leads <\/strong>and<strong> 459% higher impressions <\/strong>than Agency A<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On taking a closer look, it was observed that Agency B had 93x more TruCheck<sup>TM <\/sup>badges on their property listings, which is the main driver behind this performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur study has shown consumers are looking for evidence of validity and authenticity, and when a property seeker spots the TruCheck\u2122 on a listing, they feel like it is of higher quality than the others. Knowing that the property has been validated makes the search easier for them too\u201d, says Caroline Tinkle, Senior Industry and Training Manager at Bayut &amp; dubizzle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on this study, it is evident that listings with the TruCheck\u2122 badge have an edge. At a time when Covid 19 restrictions made it harder to go for property viewings, TruCheck\u2122 simplified the process and helped active property seekers to avoid fake listings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users find the TruCheck\u2122 badge as a symbol of the property being \u2018real\u2019 and available on the market, a concern which several property seekers in the UAE have when looking up listings online.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What Does Validating a Property with TruCheck\u2122 Mean for the Industry?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agents can validate their listings and get the TruCheck\u2122 badge in two steps: first by uploading the required documentation and receiving a <em>Checked<\/em> badge on their listings. Following this, the agents have to use the BayutPro app at the property and share photographic proof that the property is available and accurate.
