Our first guest is Mercedeh Poursaeidi, an inspiring woman in the real estate industry who\u2019s here to share her story.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Mercedeh Poursaeidi. I am a life coach and the Sales Manager at SpringField Real Estate. I am an Iranian national from Tehran, and it has been about 16 years since I moved to Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Genesis  Of A Thriving Career<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Empowering, guiding and transforming the young people I meet has always been my passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My career started in the tourism industry, after which I worked in life insurance sales for some time. My life’s route took a unique turn in 2012, when my family’s financial situation took a turn for the worse and we had to quickly find ways and means to support ourselves. It was at this time that I received a job offer from a real estate company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My expectation from this job was to make AED 8000 monthly; with long hours spent at the office and my dedication, I quickly achieved this target. Within two months, my target was changed to AED 100K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this job, one of my primary challenges was that I didn’t have a stable income. I also had to learn about time management and self-motivation, which are crucial in this line of work. Another significant challenge was convincing the clients, as the market had not matured enough, and people had difficulty trusting real estate companies. I also had to constantly learn and adapt to keep up with the market and my competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first step that I took in overcoming these challenges was developing my self-faith and diligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding Her Footing <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Real estate helped me find my strong traits. With consistency, I became a trustworthy person in the market. I worked hard to learn about how the market was evolving on a daily basis, while taking time to meet new people, which over time helped me build a strong network for myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trust and faith that my clients had in me helped me reach my goals, elevate my status and gave me freedom in the real estate market. Moreover, this industry helped me achieve my goals like becoming a property investor, living a healthy life with a happy family, travelling and exploring many countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Being Motivated<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a woman in this male-dominated industry, I would like to tell all the women interested in entering this industry that it is one of the most challenging career choices. Still, I believe that convincing and compatibility are in our DNA. Therefore, as a woman in real estate, you should learn to not be afraid, have faith in your abilities, and empower your financial freedom and independence in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My advice to my younger self would be that life is short; put the effort in and don\u2019t take life too seriously. Love yourself and have complete faith in yourself. God is always on your side, so live your life without being afraid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that time is the most precious gift in the world, and shouldn’t be wasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before reaching success, you should learn self-care, self-love and how to maintain a healthy balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
