EUC offers a range of programs that are designed to be flexible, competitive and intellectually stimulating. It provides students with excellent academic and welfare services including a comprehensive library collection, computing facilities, laboratories and workshops in addition to English language learning laboratories, accommodation as well as sports and recreational facilities.
The Mission Of The College
To provide a centre of excellence for educating a national workforce in Telecommunications and related disciplines by offering B.Eng. degrees in Communications Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering. The graduates of these courses will meet the requirements of both Etisalat and other employers in the private and public sectors of the UAE. EUC has been established to provide a sustained supply of such professionals to join the national workforce and contribute to the overall development and economic growth of the country.
College Aims And Objectives
The general aim of the courses offered by Etisalat University College is to provide a degree level education that leads to the development of professional engineering graduates in the areas of communication, electronic, and computer engineering, who; a. have the appropriate educational level for interim registration for Chartered Engineer, b. have a solid understanding of the fundamental engineering concepts and their application in engineering problem solving, c. are capable of applying modeling, analysis and design skills in developing engineering products, d. are equipped with personal and professional skills needed in order to become effective team members, e. have good understanding of the business environment and an appreciation of its requirements, f. are capable of contributing to the decision making process associated with the introduction and application of modern technologies in the local economic infrastructure, g. are equipped to carry out research and development work in the application of modern technology, and to pursue further academic study, h. have the attitude and skills required for continuing professional and personal development.
Facilities
