The school is owned and operated by ETA - Star Education Management Systems (SEMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ETA-STAR Holdings. These 'Edupreneurs' (Educational Entrepreneurs) aim at facilitating the UAE community in achieving desired standards in the field of education through promise that meets performance.
The school is situated in a peaceful area offering plenty of fresh air, ample open space for children to play and away from any kind of noise pollution. Located in a green, spacious, school zone area of Al Muweilah, Sharjah, Star International School, boasts of excellent facilities like a separate, self contained Kindergarten block with a spacious indoor play area, large and well lit classrooms, swimming pool, vast play grounds, shaded play areas, a cricket pitch, football field, well equipped library, laboratory and a computer lab. Based on the Indian Curriculum Central Board of Secondary Education, the school caters to the needs of children from KG1 to Grade 6 and has plans to upgrade to Grade 12 in the near future.
