Emirates Private School - (Private)


Emirates Private School in Sharjah came into existence on the 1st of September at 1980, has two sections: Arabic Section, and English section. The Arabic section in the school follows the Ministry Of Education curriculum with intensive English course, modified to suite the local culture. The English section prepares students to take IGCSE and ‘A’ levels. School students can transfer to the UAE government and private schools. Likewise pupils from all these schools can be transferred to our school through the Ministry Of Education.

The aim of the school is to foster, emphasize and enhance knowledge to prepare students to live in a socially changing and technologically advanced society. Boys and girls are taught separately in different premises. Special emphasis is given to Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies affiliated with The Ministry of Education ,UAE.

Curriculum / Programs
The corner store of educational in a school is curriculum .It is the skills, concepts and processes that students are exposed to during the kindergarten to the Higher Secondary School experiences.

Kindergarten Kg I - Kg II
At 3+ the child is initialed into schooling through fun filled activities and child oriented methods of learning. At this stage, basic cognitive response and motor skills are developed. Playing coloring along with formation of communication skills constitute a major part of their learning experience.

Primary level: Gr I - Gr IIA foundation-building curriculum is followed at this stage. Besides the ministry curriculum in Islamic studies and Arabic, the syllabus is designed to suit children coming from diverse backgrounds. At the primary level the curriculum seeks to correlate basic concepts to the subjects, emphasis is laid on skills and information, the syllabus is carefully planned.

Middle level: Gr IV - Gr IX
At this level the child is given an in depth knowledge of subjects studied at the primary school, emphasis is laid on scientific techniques and scientific approach to learning that arouses curiosity. Children are encouraged to be articulate and inquisitive.
