The nursery group focuses primarily on securing the "HOME ENVIRONMENT" for the children as an alternative to their first real home with their mummies. Thereon, the children start their first pre-schooling steps into a world they need to discover and learn from, all by themselves. Their program covers the alphabets, phonics, numbers, shape and colour, as well as other general topics and themes which add to their language development and understanding. The concentration is on the children's social development (belonging to a homogenous group, and sharing life within the group), Physical development, finger control and eye co-ordination, discipline and routine development. Throughout the children's nursery year, the emphasis is always on music as the most important means of their program, alongside the many different kinds of activities and art work - painting, cutting and pasting, play dough, puzzles, beading etc. In addition story-telling to encourage the children's art of listening, language-comprehension, and learning from the theme themselves.
