On August 16, 2006, with the effort of the members of the Board of Trustee chaired by the Honorable and His Excellency Saed Ben Muhammad Al-Raqabani, Honorable and His Excellency Hameed Al- Gatamy and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the College, Dr. Ghassan Al-Qaimairi, the college received its status as accredited academic institution from the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to offer the first two associate degrees in Business Administration and Information Technology, effective September 1, 2006.
With the leadership of the CEO, the Centre for English Language Development (CELD) and Centre for Continuing Education and Executive Development (CEED) were established to augment the services of the college in terms of literacy programs and professional development. In addition, the overflowing of consortium program invitations and institutional collaborative research linkages were received from the various international universities. While the campus infrastructure plans are underway, the FC has been using the building facilities of the Fujairah Trade Centre (FTC), particularly 10, 11 and 12th floors.
Vision Statement
The FC will provide quality education and equip its students with the knowledge and tools to be productive professionals in a culturally diverse and global economy.
Mission Statement
The FC will provide access to a higher education by offering quality, two-year educational programs in Business Administration and Information Technology. The degree programs will be concentrated in areas that support the economic development of the United Arab Emirates.

Associate of Arts Degree in IT; the objectives of the Associate of Arts degree in Information Technology are to equip students with: a knowledge and understanding of the UAE business environment and general business principles. The ability to apply mathematical skills in the IT and business environment. Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and function of hardware and software typical to the business environment. An understanding of systems analysis and design as applied to the business IT environment. The ability to use general office IT applications to manage and communicate information. The ability to us and manage information and Internet technologies. The ability to design and manage database. The ability to design, coding and implement programming solutions. The ability to plan, organize and present technical information related to information technology. The ability to apply analytical skills and use information technology to solve problems in the context of the business environment. An understanding of career options and the professional role and responsibilities of the IT specialist in the business environment. the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and new IT environment. Associate of Arts Degree in Business; The objectives of the AA degree program in Business Administration are to provide students with the opportunity to develop: Communication and interpersonal skills that will enable them to function effectively in the business environment. Mathematical and critical thinking skills that will enable them to solve problems in a business environment. A general knowledge and understanding of business processes and structures. And Knowledge and skills related to specialized business functions, including: marketing, business law, economics, accounting and management.
