The safety of the children in our care is of the utmost importance to us. Please help us by ensuring that the outer gates and front door are closed after entry or exit. When they arrive in the morning, children must be taken to their classrooms and handed over to a member of staff. When leaving the nursery, children must be supervised by the person collecting them. No child will be allowed to leave the Nursery uIf a child is ill during term time, parents are asked to telephone the Nursery, explaining the reason for absence.Children should not be sent to nursery if they are unwell as infections can spread quickly. Our nurse is available throughout nursery hours should you wish to contact her for guidance. If it becomes necessary for a child to leave nursery before the end of the day, parents should notify the class teacher or headmistress, stating the time at which the child will be collected.nless collected by his/her parents or another authorised adult.
The Nursery must be informed of the authorised adult’s name prior to collection.Children occasionally become ill, upset or injured whilst at nursery. Should this happen the children will be looked at by the School Nurse, who will always try to get in touch with parents. Please keep us up to date with changes in work or emergency arrangements. The School Nurse deals with day-to-day medical matters and co-ordinates visits from the Ministry of Health.
A doctor, from The Dubai London Clinic, is also on call during nursery hours. If it is essential that medicine be administered to a child during the nursery day, the medicine must be handed to the nurse, with full instructions. A compulsory annual medical is required by the Department of Health. Dubai London Clinic carries out the medical, in the Nurses room, at the Nursery.
