Class size is usually about twenty five students. The aim of the Apple International School is to provide sound academic education to an international standard in preparation for higher education; while encouraging the personal and social skills necessary for the development of positive and effective young adults, in harmony with the global community.
Facilities
The learning process is aimed at gaining knowledge methodically and comprehensively. Co -curricular activities such as Swimming, Sports, Drama, Debates and Projects are organized on a regular basis. Art / Craft, Painting, Library and Computers are also part of the daily time -table. Field trips, picnics and environmental trips are part of the extra -curricular activities. Studies are equally balanced with activities, so that school seems fun.The new premises will consist of large, spacious classrooms with a specially -designed Nursery and Kindergarten unit. Facilities will include ICT Centers, Science laboratories, a large library, a multi -purpose hall and extensive outside sports and play areas.
Curriculum / Programs
The Apple School is a British National curriculum school (adapted to local requirements) offering an education to children from the International Community in Dubai. The school believes that each child is an individual and should be given his/her own time to grow emotionally, physically and intellectually. The emphasis is on practical work. The School uses a wide selection of educational books and materials from the United Kingdom to meet the needs of children of varying abilities and from different cultures. Special emphasis is given to Arabic and Islamic Studies for Muslim students.
