Most lessons are taught in English and the curriculum is developed from the UK National Curriculum. The school gives great importance to the teaching of Arabic language and Islamic Studies, and follows the Ministry of Education courses in these subjects. Arab history and culture are incorporated into the social studies courses.

Grades 10 and 11 lead to United Kingdom General Certificate of Secondary Education examinations (GCSE). In Grades 12 and 13, all students are thoroughly prepared for university and college entry by one of two programmes: UK Advanced Level examinations are studied for entry to all UK universities and the best US universities. The High School Diploma course is specially designed for students going to other universities and colleges. Students take part in a wide range of activities throughout the year. These include camping, sailing, windsurfing, ice-skating, scuba-diving, and field trips to the UK plus many other opportunities.
