Visible from miles offshore, the Ziggurat is the daunting edifice that dominates Aquaventure. Its summit is the launching point to a variety of heart-pumping water slides – two of which catapult riders through a tantalizing shark lagoon.

Explore a world of breathtaking water thrills at Aquaventure. Slide down the immense Ziggurat and through a shark-infested lagoon, take a river ride of over two kilometres, ride the water rapids and white water chargers. For a gentler experience, younger visitors can plunge into Splashers, a water playground for kids. It all adds up to a unique water adventure, with something new discovered at every turn.
Recreation and Facilities
The exhilarating Ziggurat tower slide down into a clear tunnel through a shark-filled lagoon. Stinger, The Falls, Shamal and The Surge water roller coasters. More gentle slides for younger riders. A daring 27.5 metre near-vertical drop down the face of the Ziggurat propelling body surfers through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon at heart-pounding speed.

Shoot and spin through the mysterious dark heart of the Ziggurat before emerging slowly through the lagoon at a shark-viewing pace. Descend from the top of the Ziggurat on one of our many water-coasters. Twist, turn and blast upwards along the power-jets of The Surge. Follow the 2.3 kilometre path of a tidal river with one metre waves though a lush tropical landscape.
