The Sheffield Private School teaches The National Curriculum for England, a curriculum that is esteemed throughout the world for its high academic standards. It is a skill based curriculum, served by many excellent textbooks and resources, with its own testing mechanism. It fits into the English public examination system [GCSE, AS & A Level], which is accepted by universities all over the world.The curriculum is based on a structured and broad framework that outlines expected levels of achievement through all stages of a student's school life. In addition to development of specific skills and competencies, the curriculum emphasizes thinking skills, enquiry, creativity, planning and other skills needed to meet the challenges of the future.
Currently the school teaches students from Kindergarten to Year 9, which includes The Foundation Stage, Key Stage I and Key Stage 2. Year 7 begins Key Stage 3. In 2005-2006 the school offers places to students up to Year 9, with the remaining years up to Year 13 to follow.
