Our Nurseries are approved and licensed by the Municipality of Health and the Nursery section of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
At Small World Nurseries we aim to develop and nurture your child with a safe and stimulating environment, providing high quality, integrated, early education and child care to parents in Dubai.
Each child is special and our teachers provide a structured learning programme based on your childs individual needs. Because the Early Years are critical in a child's development, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, our aim is to work together with parents to develop key learning skills.
These skills include 'listening', 'speaking', 'concentration', 'persistence' and 'cooperation'. Guidance in these skills help to prepare children for their learning journey into their future.
At Small World Nurseries children are given the opportunity to experience the best possible start to their education.
We are also the only Nursery in the UAE to have been inspected by the UK office for Standards in education.
Facilities
Our Nurseries conform to the same high standards, each facility being designed to provide the best possible learning and caring atmosphere for your child.Small World 1 - Has bright, well equipped classrooms, a computer area with educational software, a well resourced library and outside sensorial playscapes, as well as a 'role-play' room where imaginative minds can discover and create. This Nursery caters for children from 18 months to 4 1/2 years.
Small World 2 - Offers the same high quality stimulating and safe environment beautiful shaded gardens and sand areas.
All equipment at both locations conform to safety standards and each Nursery has it's own full time Nurse and fully equipped medical room.
Curriculum / Programs
At Small World Nursery, we have developed enhanced programs to cater for the diverse needs of our community.Every aspect of our school is designed to stimulate, guide and encourage, cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development. However, our philosophy is that play is children's work, and all our activities are devised with fun in mind. Each activity, whether child or Teacher initiated has a desirable outcome. This means that your child ultimately achieves a learning objective from every activity he/she participates in at the Nursery.
