The children are observed and assessed to ensure that the planned curriculum builds on the skills that each child already possesses. For the children groups below the age of 3 years, we operate with the “Birth to Three Matters” framework, which recognizes the holistic nature of development and learning at this age. A strong emphasis on learning through interaction with others and exploring the world around them are emphasized. The framework identifies each child's individual achievements and efforts under the age of three and identifies what childcare provisions need to be provided.
