Al Ain Men's College - (State)

Al Ain Men's College, located in the garden city of Al Ain, has a relatively short history. One of the four original colleges of the HCT system, AAM first opened its doors to students in September 1988.

Key dates in AAM History

September 1988, AAMC opens with 61 students 18 staff, September 1989, AAMC starts Foundations program and enrolls 69 new students, august 1991, First cohort of Engineering & Business students graduate, September 1993, AAMC initiates part-time program and enrolls 31 part-time students, September 1995, AAMC starts new Certificate and Diploma programs in Technology and General Business.

Enrolments increase from 105 in 1994 to 261 in 1995, January 1996, AAMC moves to permanent site near the Zoo, September 1996, AAMC enrolments increase for the second year in a row. The student population now stands at 378 and the staff numbers have reached 78, September, 1999, AAMC enrolments are now over 500 students and the staff numbers are now 90, October, 1999, New outdoor athletics and recreation facilities are completed at AAMC.
