In conjunction with the Al Ain School Health Department, an Annual Immunization Programme is undertaken at Global English School , Al Ain. Parents will be informed about the programme. No immunization will be given without prior written consent from parent/guardian. It is a directive of the United Arab Emirates ' Ministry of Health and Education that proof of current immunizations are supplied before a child can enter the school. Also, once in school, proof needs to be provided for any immunizations that are given in your home country or other healthcare facility so that the Healthcare Coordinator can update your child's health record.
Facilities
Spacious, well-equipped and state-of-the art Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs are to nurture the scientific talents and to make the wards understand that theory only predicts but experiment decides. Performing experiments individually promotes the principles of learning by doing. We have a well equipped library with books on fiction, languages, core subjects, encyclopedias and other reference books. Library books are issued to pupils every week and it is open to them during their Library periods. School provides maximum opportunities to take part in various games and sports activities.The school also takes part in their U.A.E tournaments in various sports and games events. Special emphasis is given to Football, Cricket, and Volley ball, Badminton, Swimming and Karate. We make use of audio visual aids like the Multimedia to impart knowledge to the pupils through an effective learning process. Classes in this particular area of activity have been introduced as a part of the curriculum in order to provide the girl students a suitable opportunity to tone up their skills in culinary and house-keeping activities. Training in Civil Defence and administering First Aid is given to enable the students to meet any eventualities.
The school has various clubs like Maths & Science Club, Arts Club, Literary Club, Quiz Club, Aerobics Club, Gardening Club, Yoga Club, Public Speaking Club etc. These help to bring out the latent talents of the pupils and to develop their personality through various activities. The canteen is open during interval time. Students can buy snacks and drinks on payment. Covers all areas in Al Ain, Buraimi, Al Hayer, Al Saad, Al Khasna and Mazyad. Training in Music, Craft and other literary and cultural activities nurture the inborn talents of the students. The school has a well-equipped First-Aid Centre and a qualified, full time Nurse. All cases of injury or illness receive immediate attention. Regular medical examination is done as prescribed by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Education.
