The CERT Blue Gene supercomputer offers 5.7 teraflops calculating speed to corporate clients for use in biotechnology, nanotechnology, and genetics research as well as oil and gas simulation. CERT Technology Park in the UAE is home to international companies such as Intel, Honeywell and Lucent Technologies. The CERT IBM Center of Excellence for Nanotechnology is commercializing nanotechnology discoveries in Desalination, Alternative Energy, and Bio-Assay for Life Sciences. CERT also leads human capital development by offering total education solutions to both corporate and individual customers.
CERT is involved in strategic alliances with a number of large multinational organizations in developing a diverse range of business and technology solutions. CERT holds the MENA training rights for many ‘best in class’ programs such as the American Management Association qualification. CERT is the exclusive health and environment educator for the General Health Authority. The CERT Institute for Languages offers instruction in several languages, and is also the sole provider of linguistic training to the UAE military. Post-graduate programs offered include the University of Strathclyde MBA and the Deakin University Master of Education.
The core of CERT's mission is to apply the knowledge and expertise from its partners and associates, such as Thales, MIT Entrepreneurship Centre, Chair Academy, Intel, The Next Consortium comprising Texas A&M, and Abu Dhabi Education Zone to provide world class training and education programs addressing the needs of client organizations. This has resulted in the establishment of several quality institutions such as the CERT - Thales Institute, Abu Dhabi Petroleum University, The HCT-MIT Entrepreneurship Centre, and CERT Teacher Training Institute.
CERT also offers specialized programs in Languages, Food Inspection Technology, Surveying and Mapping, Remote Sensing, GPS, Aerial Photography, Military Nursing, Military Business Certificate, Telecommunications, Safety Engineering, Purchasing Administration, Highway Maintenance, Building Inspection, Environmental and Public Health, Business Management, Information Technology, Leadership Training and Personal Development. In addition, there is a continuous development of short and long-term degree and non-degree programs in Management, Business, Information Technology, and Health Care, to meet the ever changing and newly emerging needs of our customers.
